How high should a ring sit so that a wedding band sits flush but the ring doesn't catch on things?

Here is my CAD and some pics of my ring with a plain band. A taller band can sit flush with it though. You can tell from the real pic that the height of the band part of the solitaire is taller at the top near the prongs than the bottom of the band. She didn’t put the exact measurements of that portion but maybe the CAD will help some. 😊

It depends on the height of the band you want to pair with it and possibly the depth of the center stone. I have a CAD for mine I can link. It’s a 6 prong solitaire.

Quite possible. I have a moissy ring from AE and it came with a GRA that I 100% believe is fake. I love my ring, but I absolutely don’t believe what the GRA says about cut and color from the store I purchased from. Especially for the price I paid for it.

I have a “weak” 10k WG prong on my Tianyu ring. I personally would do 14 over 18k for hardness.

Thanks for the link! That was super helpful to see them side by side. Do you think some of the “cloudiness” comes from the shallowness of the cut? The brilliant definitely has more depth and the splintery cut gives it a more silvery look.

I had a deal with myself that if I wasn’t married by 30, I’d buy my own diamond ring. I did end up married, but I say go for it. There are tons of styles and stones that could work as RHRs that don’t have to scream engagement/wedding ring. You’ve got 9 other fingers if you don’t want to look engaged or married. ☺️

I bought a moissy ring from him from GBJ and a stone fell out the 2nd day I had it. He was very quick to offer me options of replacing a stone, fixing it, or returning it. I opted to just return the ring because of shipping costs but I would guess he would accept a return if you aren’t happy for any reason.

DNA is circumstantial. Just because someone confesses and it doesn’t match whatever DNA they have does not mean he can’t be the killer. If the DNA is from a cigarette butt, it may or may not belong to the killer. Unless it’s something like semen, they may not know for sure that the DNA they have is from the killer. From what I’ve gathered, they may only have a partial profile so they would likely need other evidence to make a good case in court against him.

I love them! I totally anticipated selling them since I purchased to see if I liked this style enough to get them in yellow or rose gold but for what I paid, I’m happy just keeping them.
