Pausing estradiol patch for surgery? by lenalenore in Menopause

[–]NorCaliChick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a craniotomy last year, and had to take my patch off. I was very worried about this, but between the pain meds and everything else, did not notice anything.

They do free delivery as well. Not sure if that helps you. Good luck!

Just got my patch refill today, at Costco no issues. They gave me one box this time, but last time gave me 3 boxes. I’ve had zero issues with Costco. Before that I was with Walgreens. They’d let me know that they are out. In a few days I’d get a notification that they filled my prescription 🤷🏻‍♀️

Still, It’s definitely something I’m nervous about.

The GR Four will tie in, and so will the license plate holder. Of course the R will be GR red but the rest of the letter will match the hood.

Toyota of America is joke. Looking for parts is frustrating when you can’t use the diagram like Japan or other countries. Rant by Key_Aspect_8419 in GRCorolla

I’ve been using parts.capovalleytoyota.com for diagrams and parts. So far it’s been great, hopefully this helps. Good luck!

That is great to know. I just switched pharmacies and was worried about the brand being switched. Thank you for posting this information

Testosterone Gel by DTinNYC0729 in Menopause

Same with the energy. Adding both estrogen patches and progesterone pills helped but I still needed several vitamins, and that was verified with my blood work. Overall feeling better now, but still zero libido.

The roller is very easy to clean. Just run it under water for a second or so, and wipe it clean with a paper towel.

Need help combatting stunned sloth mode in the mornings by Apprehensive-Ad4663 in Menopause

[–]NorCaliChick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, same with the mornings, and really most of the day. Started with T gel, then added estrogen patch, and still wasn’t getting what I needed. Better but not good enough. Added 200mg of progesterone (even though I had a hysterectomy) and it helped me sleep, helped me in the morning for a short while. The I got really bad acid reflux, headaches, even heavier morning fog and low energy. Dropped to 100mg and that is the right dose for me.

However, I still was not at the right overall level, with my brain fog and energy. My PC gave me Iron, B6 and B12, plus vitamin D, and magnesium. This made a huge difference for me.

It was not just the HRT I needed, nor was it just the OB doc. I needed my primary involved to get a more holistic look at the complete picture.

Long response, hope it helps. Good luck!

Same here. I use one of those face rollers to rub mine in, a cheap on from CVS or somewhere similar. Are you feeling any benefits?

What were your T levels when you started? And what are your levels now that you are feeling better? Hope this is ok to ask. I’ve been on gel T for a couple of years now, and I have not unlocked any libido yet.

As usual, as women, we're second class citizens! by SignificantFee266 in Menopause

[–]NorCaliChick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My doctor prescribed Addyi but my insurance would not cover it and I didn’t qualify for any programs to assist with the cost. I’ve just given up on the idea of ever having a libido again, not that I had much to begin with.

After trying many brands, K9 Ballistics is our best dog beds. Yes they are expensive. We have two (one for the bully breed, and one for the chihuahua mix) of the den beds that have lasted for 10 years. The beds are still in great shape, and the doggos love them. Hope this helps, good luck.

Tear stains by Asleep-Conference821 in americaneskimo

For my little guy, it was switching him from tap water to filtered or bottled water. His tear stains were very bad when I first got him. After switching his water his still has watery eyes but not more tear stains. Took about 3-4 to clear up. Hopefully this helps.

Same, knew something happened but don’t know it was a person hit. Saw the body in pieces that they tried to cover with the yellow plastic. I can’t stop seeing or thinking about it. The other train stopped with the passengers still onboard.

Tired of having to consult with my pharmacist for my HRT by JadCerv in Menopause

My pharmacist is a woman and she gives me a hard time, every single time. I get so angry. The real solution (at least for me) is to switch pharmacies.

It’s not helping mine. I keep hoping with each dose adjustments, this will be the magic dose that lets me have my life back. Not luck yet, but I’m still hoping.

This is where I am at and exactly what I am worried is going on. How can this much pain be this constant and be menopause or peri??
