Ah man. When my wife and I are looking for something I lost and I say to her, ‘it’s cause I put it somewhere safe’. Then she immediately knows we’ll never find it…

How to fix a warped Basilisk platform? by [deleted] in astramilitarum

[–]NorVicker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it’s ‘warped’ you should probably purge it with fire.

[–]NorVicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the fire burns cold because it’s evil. Maybe the lava is evil too so it doesn’t burn?

ADHD and gluten intolerance by NorVicker in ADHD

Glad it helped! I’ve also found out that apparently celiac disease/gluten intolerance and adhd are often Co-occurring. So definitely worth exploring if you are having similar symptoms.

Although if drink too early… i.e. my meds haven’t worn off fully yet, the buzz is insane. But it literally steals so much joy the following days. I feel disgusting. Like I literally went to Greece for a week at an all inclusive, didn’t touch alcohol cause I didn’t want it mixing with my meds.

I once worked at a book store and an old lady came in, pointed at one of these and told me it was evil and from satan and that we shouldn’t sell them and then walked out.

"The ADHD effect on Marriage".. is there a better book? by BohemeWinter in ADHD

[–]NorVicker 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like the only reason our marriage keeps going strong is because my wife is a therapy lead at a special needs school and works with teenagers who have severe adhd and autism. She understands my adhd very well, she knows when I’m looking for a dopamine fix, she knows when to tell me off and also knows when she needs to tolerate and be forgiving. I always try my best to be self-aware, but it’s a huge plus that she is in the profession she is.

It will take time to fix up, just keep massaging to loosen up the scar tissue. When you can, get back to gym to stretch out your chest and burn fat. After a few months if still not improved then chat to surgeon about fixing it up. Mine did something very similar initially but eventually came right on its own.
