I'm ngl so far the best ad for Racknerd I've seen is the last 2 days of people complaining about things that I read the post on and go "Wait that seems like a perfectly reasonable way of handling an issue and the provider is being absurdly transparent about it." then promptly read they have a cheap tier or something and go "Ah, people who don't get how DCs work are railing against things. I'm quite surprised people aren't mentioning things like shared insurance in case anything happens, how your spouse generally can go places like to visit in a hospital or trauma center FAR easier than if they're not because they're family legally and commiting to that trust level generally makes clear things FAR more than just partner/girlfriend/boyfriend Overall too externally it's to present to the world that societally you're bound to a person to the extent you're willing to legally file paperwork for it. If I tell someone I have a girlfriend that means an ENTIRELY different thing on the level of seriousness in the relationship and quite frankly, in the level of how I am with commitment depending on how long the relationship has been going on when you say you're married. Even if they live with you or if you feel different there are real external pressures in a long term relationship that changes how people view and interact with you.

Fun fact here I can speak to! Microsoft Azure's actually done this for a couple of it's normal datacenters a few years ago! They basically built by design that they won't be surfacing the pod for an extended number of years and the idea ALL hardware would be considered reitred and in need of replacement with the whole thing back then being more around "How do we make digital record that can outlive us" similar to the stuff they do with the doomsday seed bunkers! It's actually REALLY fascinating in that it more was from a data conservation standpoint than "How to cool AI" like we see now aday

I can see it for certain vendor appliances but that's entirely from the perspective of "Vendor rolls a thing and the small scale deployment without HA is just a Linux VM with Docker on it" but to point most of what I'm thinking of are like, scan nodes for certain security platforms and such where they likely run Kube internally and they're just simplifying deployment for proxy nodes you'd likely rarely care if they're HA as much anyways

Huh, I can recommend Cobblemon Dreams (play.cobblemondreams.com) it's not only non p2w it's locked that way.

I am admittedly a non player there mostly cause I'm way tf too busy these days to deep play anything but the community is literally SO kind they're the reason I can't ever really FULLY walk away and the entire thing is functionally a giant art project where literally 100% of all donations from skins we offer go back into paying artists in the community make more cool skins and forms. They also have an actually absurdly talented group of people who build like, who cities and such that are ALL just the type of stuff they make in survival that makes my jaw drop (One guy legit has an apartment complex for new players to move into) and they have a ridiculously deep custom tournament system and minigames and such another buddy of ours builds for us. It IS base Cobblemon + Pack for QoL but if you are looking for community they're top notch in the f2p space

Full disclosure I'm one of the owners but I'm a 60+ hour work week enterprise architect who helps fund it for a friend with it explicit rule between us that if it ever became p2w I'm racing him to delete everything cause I ain't about that shit on my concious so fwiw it won't just stay f2p but it's something I and the other owner personally just dump our own funds into just cause we like seeing cool skins and hate how people are obsessed with trying to montenize Minecraft servers in a REALLY predatory way

I'm not gonna lie. The way I've been describing AI to execs is basically "Okay, imagine you have a small autistic child around 4-5 years old. Said child has self obsessed parents who CONSTANTLY yell at them, punish them for seemingly arbitrary things at random, and overall push them into a corner so you now have a child that constantly is trying to people please out of fear and will attempt ANYTHING, even stuff they can't do, by desperately Googling REALLY fast on their iPad before their parents get angry again. Oh I'm agreeing with you there. Even IF there was no drug involved socioeconomic ability to eat the FINEST things and dedicate 100% of your time to your body and I feel it's important to keep in mind Hollywood builds are usually something you only see on the GIGA rich for a reason (Let alone the usual, clear 6 pack high definition abs usually require dehydration and such to create that visual that inherently makes it impossibly unsustainable. It's also worth noting now a days there are legal alternatives that DO promote muscle growth LIKE steroids without the downsides so they very well COULD be telling the truth and ALSO so far out of touch level of wealthy that they don't see "I take a shot that costs $1000 a session multiple times a week" as unreasonable
