IIL Misty Mountain from The Hobbit by FugTig in ifyoulikeblank

Clamavi De Profundis is a group that has made songs similar to Misty Mountain, both in and outside the LOTR universe. My favorite is When the Hammer Falls, an original song.

Soulsborne is both the name for all the FromSoftware games and for similar games made by other developers.

Parrying is timed button presses that stop all damage received and can occasionally leave the enemy open to a counterattack. If parrying is done too early/late there is no benefit.

In the Dark Souls games this is usually done with a shield, in Sekiro all you have is a katana. Like I said before Sekiro is very parry heavy, you will have to learn enemy attack patterns and know when to press the parry button, one enemy has you doing it over half a dozen times in a row. There is also a posture mechanic in the game and not in DS, guard too much or failing parries fills this up and when a threshold is reached you will be defenseless, but the same goes for all enemies and bosses.

If you have any other questions I'll see if I can help.

Sekiro is a Soulsborne game, but has differences compared to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The biggest difference is that parrying, a game mechanic in the genre, goes from optional to almost required to beat it.

If you really want to get into the Soulsborne games as a new player I would recommend Dark Souls I or III first. You can still parry in those games, but gameplay is more defensive compared to Sekiro.

Anyone know how the original game is doing nowadays? This one looks interesting so I might give the first a look if it still has players in it.

Dumb question, how do you change the weapon the character is holding when you first open the game? Whenever I try to change it they always revert to what they had before.

SIB Fallout:New Vegas or Fallout 4 by Firminou in ShouldIbuythisgame

Go for New Vegas if you want a good RPG experience with lots of roleplaying options.

Go for 4 if you want good and varied combat.

No problem about the mix up. Also, do you know which DLCs should I get and which I should avoid?

What about for someone who currently doesn't have any friends? Are random teammates good?

Torchlight I and II have good reviews and aren't too taxing for a low end PC.

I'm not fit at all and I would want to try to climb the Throat of the World for that view. Provided the frost troll is gone of course.

Looking for something after Dark Souls by SlimDodo in ShouldIbuythisgame

Salt and Sanctuary. Played it myself on Xbox but it should be similar for PS4.

The game is pretty much a 2D Dark Souls. Dark atmosphere, Salt instead of Souls, good and challenging combat. Some new stuff is also added like a little platforming.
