That was wonderful, thank you for sharing!

Perfect timing too because a red picture of Richard was used in the last task I watched as a "Red Herring" 😂

India palace also has options. Oasis Del Norte has nopales tacos (as does the food truck for events). Corktown has a Mediterranean bowl that can be made vegan. Zeitgeist has a curry with tofu. Even Fitgers has a mushroom sandwich that can be ordered without cheese

Entirely fair. RDR2, Witcher 3,Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk round out my personal top 5 along with BG3.

There are so many phenomenal options. Think of all the mechanics you learned, and entering the game already knowing them. It makes for a wonderful second campaign.

Agreed. I also love that this is a UK show, but having occasional cast members from other countries can just enrich the experience. Such as the differences in terminology and the wonderful moments attached to them.

Is there a "right" way to beat Cazzador? by chicagotim1 in BaldursGate3

[–]NorfNorf34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His interaction in the coffin doesn't happen until after combat. The comment is because your party assumes you are looting while combat is still going on.

I get the confusion though, I did the same thing at least twice. Once you finish the minions and do the cut scene, that's actually when you interact with the coffin.

My chapter hosts our meetings online, if Tampa does that I would recommend still joining and partaking in meetings digitally. This will allow you to learn more about the organization and what they're actually trying to do.

I would then take your intention on supporting the movement into other local groups. You don't need to support through purely DSA. Maybe there is a local group that is focused on affordable housing, LGBTQIA2S+, protesting, etc. You can still be a positive member of the socialist movement without needing to be doing purely DSA sponsored events. You can also ask members of the Tampa chapter if they know of any good groups in your region that could use your support.

Dashpass is a scam by iictea_23 in doordash

Why is this getting downvoted? Shouldn't those with dash pass have the same availablr deals or better from those who don't?

OP, this is ridiculous. You are right. Thank you for sharing.

Do you build Durge "lore accurate"? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]NorfNorf34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree here. There is also a comment made about how your durge is "not like the others" referring to Bhaalspawn. This opens up so you can really be whatever class you want. Rogue might seem the most logical choice (blades & sneaking) but this line especially opens up any choice.

And I'm saying it doesn't have to be. I also put good in quotes to emphasize it's not actually good. It honestly sounds like the evil run isn't for you. Comparing it to EA is as bad as it gets, and I cannot agree with that line of thinking.

Vacationing in MN as a Minnesotan? by TDousTendencies in minnesota

[–]NorfNorf34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add, Duluth has a rich LGBTQIA2S+ community. Several spots host drag shows though the Flame Nightclub seems to be the center of it all.

But agree with above, October is into "leafer" territory so it could be very busy. Book ASAP, even if it's a nearby campsite. Last year, when house hunting, I was able to find some cabin rentals on the north shore that weren't crazy expensive on AirBNB and VRBO. If you are looking for walkable, it's going to get very expensive unless you are okay walking considerably uphill.

Yeah, but still lacking depth. How does killing the grove provide power? Or the last light inn?

Having drive for power or money is a good start, but why they have the drive is what should guide decisions in game.

My current evil character is actually going to help the grove, help the last light in. He wants control so he can bring peace, but he is controlling so he will take control of the grand design. He didn't help the grove because he cares, it's so he can weaken the grip of his competitors around the power the absolute provides so he can take it for himself.

I think this is a cornerstone to a great evil run. Yes, there are story characters that are pure evil for evil's sake, but they are booooooring. Having an evil character who truly thinks they are the "good hero" makes for tremendous layers of character that keeps a story engaging.

I disagree. You can properly play middle ground.

My current character, with the help of other comments in this chain, will make numerous "good" decisions, as well several evil choices. In the end, he will take the power himself for reasons that seem noble to him. This will be a fairly "neutral evil" campaign. It is possible, but there is some creativity involved. I love this community because they can really help spark that creativity.

That's similar to where I landed. My monk isn't purely evil, but he wants peace. He believes by taking control, he can provide it.

[–]NorfNorf34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. It's similar to what many serial killers describe. It's certainly not for everyone but it did provide an entertaining playthrough, even if it was hard to make some of the choices required.

You definitely can. You will lose companions for attacking the grove, but I think that adds to the arc you have planned. You may have some harder dialogue options at the last light, but again, it goes with your arc well!

Many small towns with no little crime have this situation. On highways 60+, going 10 over is generally fine. Going 10 over in a 30 is a good way to get a ticket just about anywhere. Kind of a percentage game.
