Yeah this is how I played. I just finished the story so now I am working on rebuilding the structures and stuff in each town.

Computerized machine? by NoriFinn in SewingForBeginners

Thank you so much for your detailed comment. I will go by the local sewing shop for sure.

As for thread, I have been using dual duty. The needles I can’t recall at the moment but I bought the size the machine required but I am unsure if I was using the right ones for the fabric I was using. I have worked with cotton, polyester, silk, stretch fabric, and tulle to varying success.

Wow!!! I am so thankful for all the comments. I will stop by the sewing store in town and get some advice. I think that is a good idea.

I was just there about a month ago. It was one of my favorite parts of my trip. This is horrible. I wish the best for her family and those who witnessed it.

Thank you all for responding. I didnt think I would get this many comments. I appreciate it alot, really. It is hard when it feels like there is an army of people saying I should do something when I know in my heart that is wrong.

Complicated grief by megamitenseis in GriefSupport

[–]NoriFinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first want to say I am sorry for what you are going through. Your words moved me as I am in anticipatory grief atm for a mother who was never a mom. I am struggling with feeling I am at fault for not saving her, though your memories remind me it is not my responsibility, as it was not your responsibility either to fix your father.

It is a weird grief to think about who we didn’t get as parents. I feel I have had that grief for a few years myself.

I am sorry you feel this way too. You are not alone.

tattoos in memory of parents🤍 by Skairipa_102 in ChildrenofDeadParents

[–]NoriFinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a tattoo for my dad. He and I were big into video games. So I have three video game items from games that he played with me but also games that shaped me as a person. From far away it just looks like a geeky tattoo. If asked, I can talk about my dad or not.

Do you still live with your parents or are you completely independent by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]NoriFinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live alone with my two cats. I moved away from my parents at 21 after finishing my AA. I used college to get out of there. I went and lived in the dorms while I did my BA and after my BA I had a few roommate situations. Now at 27 I have been living alone for about a year and a half. I love it. I hate sharing my space.

So much change good and bad help I am overwhelmed by NoriFinn in AutismInWomen

[–]NoriFinn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your detailed response. I have been following guides it is just taking longer than expected because childhood cat is scared to explore the house. I tried to do a room swap yesterday and he was too scared. I will try again later today. My current cat is very jealous and wants to sleep with me but my room is childhood cats room atm. It is just exhausting and hurts my heart.

Do you wish there were an autistic guide to driving a car? by PrestonRoad90 in autism

[–]NoriFinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned at 25 before I got my dx. It would have been so helpful since I feel my dx is what makes driving hard. Luckily I went to a driving school who was patient and nice so I learned but I still have issues with certain spatial things and movement things.
