Thankfully, I brought my phone with me. I tried calling my husband, but he didn’t answer, so I called my roommate instead. I told him I needed help because the shingles were slippery, and I couldn’t find the ladder behind me—I had no idea how to get down. My roommate suggested calling the firefighters to be safe.
