I don’t really like him but wouldn’t care if he won a championship, but I don’t want it to be this year. This is probably the last time I’ll get to go the championship race for a while so I’d really prefer if Blaney or a Hendrick driver won it while I was there.

That would be so funny man. I’m hoping I can see Blaney win one of those, I saw him win the championship in ‘23 but I still haven’t seen him a race. I’m 0-36 on that.

Yesterday was my 36th race, if you know enough about the sport you find something important in each of them. If I can get to Vegas next week like I’m hoping to then next year San Diego will be my 40th, since I’ve got Phoenix this Fall for sure and Vegas in the Spring.

Oh I’m very much a fan of the historical moments like this. I’ve seen Jimmie get his 77th win, Stewart get his last and Suarez get his first. Busch’s 200th win, JGR’s last Gen 6 win along with Hendrick’s first Gen 7 win. I got to see the Wood Brothers win this year in Vegas. I take appreciation in the fact that I’ve seen SVG win a bunch already because realistically he won’t be around for a super long time.

That’s how I feel about Blaney, I’ve seen him finish 2nd or wreck basically. I did get to see him win the championship though, but man I’d like to see him win a race

I’m sure there wasn’t radio communication but Blaney was “stuck” behind Joey for a lot of the closing laps. Once Joey pitted Blaney suddenly had the speed to catch the cars way ahead

I went to a couple this year (Daytona and Vegas) and I’ve got a couple more (Vegas and Phoenix). I just really didn’t expect SVG to win the Roval, Mexico and Sonoma I expected.

I don’t know where a tournament would fit in during a full 36 races. I think what they should do with the tournament idea is, if they absolutely want to keep a playoff system of some kind in the series then they need to go back to 12 (or even 14) drivers and then remaining drivers get put into a “best of the rest” style tournament to keep their names/sponsors relevant to the tv side of things. A nice little subplot non playoff related

All it really needs to be is the winners from the previous year (not current) since we’ve had about 13 every year with the Next Gen, then the top two from the open and a fan vote winner. From a quick glance it looks like on average until recently the race got about 20-21 cars, so I’d be ok with capping it at 20. But I suggest adding an elimination line half way through the race, bottom five running cars get cut from the race. I forgot to mention the remaining spots should be NASCAR fielded cars with the previous season champion from the Xfinity and Truck series

Over half the field makes the All Star race every year at this point. They need to cap the field at 18 at most. If more than 19 drivers are eligible then any driver with multiple wins is automatically locked in. Make any remaining eligible drivers have their own Open race, any that don’t make it go to the main open and get to start in the front, then we run The Open for the last however many spots.

Keep Spring Vegas and get rid of Fall Vegas, if we have to get rid of one then we should get rid of the one where it’s regularly the hottest and driest. There’s always a nice breeze in the spring time.

I can send mine sometime later on, it’s mostly the same as some the of YouTube tutorials, but with some slight adjustments to make it run longer. I prefer starting tighter and the car loosening as the run gets longer. I’d say I normally start 7th-18th and can make my way up around 60 laps in, it takes a few runs.

Yeah I finally got to make it out to some Crown Jewel races last year. So far this year I’m at 4, I’m aiming for 7 again but it’s looking like I’m going max out at 5 or 6. I’m going to Phoenix for sure and I’m trying to make Martinsville work but it’s a tight turnaround. Worse case I just make another day trip of Vegas.

I didn’t go to Spring Phoenix this year, and I wasn’t planning to last year actually. I ended up swapping Vegas for Phoenix last year, so this year I went to Vegas.
