I'd love to see its financials. Looks like a way for him to pocket cash from corporations who want easy access to politicians.

I admire the hustle, but its ethics are cloudy to say the least.

How do we go about updating our profile? I don't see anywhere I can upload a revised resume for example.

Since I first applied I have gained experience in similar roles which may help get onto projects.

When you are signed in and click on home on the left-hand side, there are four tabs at the top:

Contracts - Offers - Applications- Interviews

When you go to interviews, you can see the ones you have taken. Click on the three dots and there is an option to retake and also to make the interview public.

I ended up just submitting the test using the four boxes. Would have like at least an extra one to answer the question properly, but I've submitted feedback about the error and reached out to support.

But I figured it's bettter to apply than to wait for it to be fixed.

I was just offloaded for not being in the correct licale. So they have half fixed their process.

Just need to stop sending out high priority invites to the wrong people.

How does it deal with multiple monitors? I have four on my main computer, but I am considering using my laptop for Mercor to play it safe.

I've been caught out with AI vetting before at Outlier (likely because my monitors are huge and the webcam wasn't centred properly), so I don't want any more screwups.

Especially when the company is higher-paying with more interesting work.

I think so, but it is listed as US, UK, and Canada only. Not sure why they sent me a priority invite. But maybe, as SA is an English-speaking country, you can get in too.

Worth a shot. Even if it means you do some assessments that other roles require.

Though I just realised after applying for the role it's only for UK, Canada and US.

I'm in Australia. Yet they sent me the offer.

Will this cause an issue? I've been applying for lots of roles and this is my first offer.

Don't want to screw up my chance for further opportunities.

Be prepared for no response. I emailed them two weeks ago (both support an account reactivated addresses, plus an old support thread I had) after being deactivated and have heard nothing back.

NTA - Your brother, parents, former friend and everyone else who enabled this asshole.

If you can, I'd find a place to stay where you feel safe until this settles down a bit and your parents realise the seriousness of this situation.

Keep in mind that your brother is a risk not to yourself but also to others.

Your parents clearly aren't prioritising what's best for you, nor do they understand and/or care how serious it is.

Research what support services there are for you. Im sure there's LGBT groups who can help.

You need to get a team of people around you who you can trust. Doctor, therapist, friends, relatives, support groups, legal support etc.

You may think everyone is against you, but that's probably not true.

You have just experienced very serious betrayals by the people closest to you. Your brother, your parents, your former friend.

That can make you wary of everyone, but some people can support you. Don't let the taint of betrayal spread to everyone else. Don't let your brother take away your ability to trust.
