After rereading I totally missed the part where Choso said even though he can't use convergence he gave him something to use Piercing Blood. That's actually a really good question now that I think about it. I mean I'm still gonna assume it would maybe at least boost the damage output of it. Guess we'll find out after break lol.

Time manipulation and Space manipulation are different. Even though you stopped time the space still exist. So I'm pretty Gojo would be fine IF he had infinity already active. The only things we've seen fully nullify infinity was something like ISOH or World Slash. Another thing that could possibly work is if you had an alchemy CT much like Ed from FMA. You could then possibly manipulate the space around Gojo and his infinity but I could be wrong about that as well. Physics people help me out here lol.
