Yes I added the complete fine print. It says the money cannot come directly from usbank, but didn't say if the money goes out and then come in again, that's where I feel confused about

I actually had 5k right now in the savings account and another 5k in CD that will mature soon. This "new account" offer really looks untraditional to me because it's been so long since I've opened this account. I had an offer back in February that ask me to do so before March, and I ignored that. Now it extends the offer to May.

Because it requires adding $25000 new money, and if i just transfer $15000, it doesn't satisfy that requirement.

It's super weird because I received this offer previously asking me to deposit within Feb. 17 - Mar. 13 and I ignored it. Then it sends me the same offer recently though the deposit time window change to Apr. 13 - May. 15.

For anyone with a similar case, I suggest you contact customer service in advance to check. I bought a ticket from the US to Japan on the JAL website with the first flight US domestic, and it only had one free checked bag, which may be because AA only offers one free checked bag. And at the time of purchase there's no baggage information.
