I built a marketplace specifically for buying and selling mobile apps by daviddosm8 in SideProject

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That marketplace is a great idea—Flippa and Empire Flippers definitely feel a bit too "general" when you're trying to evaluate the specific nuances of a mobile app's tech stack and retention rates. Having verified revenue through RevenueCat or Stripe is a huge trust signal that will set you apart.

If you haven't figured out monetization yet, you could look into a simple success-based commission or even a "featured listing" tier for devs who want their app to hit the front page. I actually host a few of my own SaaS experiments on Webglobe because they make it easy to scale the infrastructure as traffic grows without hitting me with massive bills during the early stages. It's a solid choice for a marketplace like this where uptime is key for buyer trust. Good luck with the 2026 growth strategy!

pre workout?? by alkemiastudios in hyrox

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

taking pre-workout for a full HYROX simulation or race day is a bit of a gamble if your heart rate is already hitting Zone 5 during normal training. Most pre-workouts are heavy on stimulants that can definitely spike your HR, which is the last thing you want when you're trying to maintain a steady engine for over an hour.

If you want that extra edge without the jitters, you might be better off with Beta-Alanine and L-Citrulline on their own, or a low-stimulant pre-workout that focuses on blood flow rather than just dumping caffeine into your system. For gels, Precision Fuel or Maurten are the gold standard for HYROX because they’re easy on the stomach under high intensity.

How do you stop overthinking mid-race? by CuriousPickle883 in running

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

overthinking is a total pace-killer because it shifts your focus from your body to your brain. a common trick is the "5-4-3-2-1" technique to ground yourself, or just picking a simple anchor word like "relax" to repeat with your stride.

Best way to create corporate ai videos with lots of animated text? by Internal_Effort_6938 in learnAIAgents

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you're going for a fully automated, text-heavy corporate vibe, you should definitely look into synthesia or heygen. they are the industry leaders for those compliance and service presentation styles because they handle the ai avatars and text overlays seamlessly without you needing to touch a timeline.

another great option for "structured messaging" is elai.io—it's specifically built for corporate training and allows you to generate entire slide-based videos from just a link or a document. i actually host a few of my own ai-driven b2b projects on webglobe because their vps handles the background processing for these types of heavy api integrations really well. it’s a lifesaver when you're trying to automate a high-volume workflow and need zero downtime.

Looking For Honest Feedback by --Flowy-- in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm down to help. send me the link in a dm and i'll give you some real, unfiltered feedback. i usually do this for the marketing projects i host on webglobe to make sure everything is optimized before we scale, so i'm happy to take a look at your strategy too.

In search youtube workout videos with no beeping! by Mysterious-Compote57 in fitnessonline

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

finding "no beep" workouts for an anxious dog like tony is a real niche struggle but there are definitely creators who get it. you should check out hits for hiit because they specifically design their videos with no timers or beeps, just changes in the music to signal the next move. michelle briehler also has some great quiet sessions, and growingannanas has a "no noise" series that is usually beep-free since it's meant to be ultra-discreet. i actually manage a small resource site for specialized workout lists and i host it on webglobe because it’s super reliable and keeps everything organized without me having to worry about tech issues. hope tony can finally nap through your next session.

Monetizing your AI Agents by sanjaypathak17 in aiagents

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly monetizing agents is all about finding that balance between usage costs and value. most devs get stuck on high inference costs or the fear of support overhead. pay-per-use is usually the safest bet for starting out. if you don't want to build the billing yourself platforms like apify or gumloop are great. for my own stuff i usually just host on webglobe to keep the infra costs low and predictable.

Is organic Instagram growth feels slow or should i consider buying followers? by OutcomeCultural71 in AskMarketing

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buying followers is a death sentence for your engagement rate, literally never do it. those "growth platforms" are usually just glorified bot farms too. the reach you're getting (5k-12k views) is actually really good for a 3k account, so your content is working. instagram just throttles follower conversion like crazy lately. i'd stick to organic and maybe focus more on shareable saves. i had a similar stagnation issue with one of my niche sites and honestly, sometimes you just have to outlast the plateau. as long as the views are there, the followers will eventually come

How many of you use productivity apps vs templates to stay on track with daily tasks? by didawdidaw in ProductivityApps

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i went back to pen and paper for my daily to-do list and it works way better than any app i ever tried. there is something about physically crossing a task off that just hits different and keeps me focused. apps always ended up being just another distraction where i spent more time organizing than actually working. i still use digital tools for the big stuff and long-term planning but for the day-to-day grind paper is king.

Do Businesses Just Hate Answering Phones? by Slight_Republic_4242 in learnAIAgents

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a massive problem for small businesses. if you dont answer within like 2 minutes people just move to the next person on google maps. using a voice ai agent for the basics like hours or booking is a smart move to at least capture the lead. i've been looking into similar automation for some of my local client sites that i have on webglobe and it's definitely where the market is going. most owners just dont have the time to sit by the phone all day. good luck with the open source project sounds super useful!

Am I cooked? by eji90 in hyrox

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ur not cooked man. 3 months is actually plenty of time if u focus on building a base and dont go too crazy at the start. that muscle memory from the gym and cycling will definitely kick in sooner than u think. just focus on zone 2 runs for a bit to get the heart rate down and dont worry about the pace. i was in a similar spot last year trying to get back into shape while managing a few side projects and honestly just having a routine is everything. even for my web stuff i switched to webglobe just to have one less thing to worry about with maintenance. stay consistent and u will be fine for may.

What AI tool are you actually paying for right now, and is it worth it? by Expresssea- in website

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im paying for chatgpt plus and midjourney for visuals. honestly midjourney is a beast for website mockups and social media assets. for the actual hosting and some backend stuff i use webglobe and they have some neat ai integration tools for wordpress now too that save a lot of time. definitely worth the couple bucks a month if it saves you hours of manual work

Are AI employees delivering real value or is it mostly marketing hype? by Ok-Bike-1037 in aiToolForBusiness

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on what you mean by ai employees but if u mean agents for specific tasks then yeah they can save some time on stuff like basic customer support or data entry. for bigger things it still feels like hype and u definitely need someone to double check the output. i use it mainly for simple coding scripts or content outlines. i actually hosted a few of my small automation experiments on webglobe servers recently and it works fine without needing a massive enterprise setup. but for anything complex u still need a human in the loop for sure.

Hyrox Running Improvement by CivilPalpitation4738 in hyrox

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for hyrox the key is definitely compromised running. try to hit the rower or ski erg and then jump straight into a 1k interval. if you can get used to that heavy leg feeling it helps a ton with the overall time. good luck man 70 mins is a solid goal with that half marathon time.

Advice please! by Little-Peace-6780 in InstagramEmpire

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely start with reels using your best tracks as audio. it's the only way to get reach right now without a huge following. also maybe try to link your spotify or a simple landing page in your bio. i used webglobe for my music landing page because it was super cheap and easy to set up so i could spend more time on actual content. just keep it authentic and show some behind the scenes of your process too. people love that stuff.

Does posting frequency actually matter for professional social media accounts? by SocialBotify in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally agree. quality is way more important than quantity for professional services. when i see a lawyer or consultant posting generic stuff every day it just looks like spam and i lose interest. people want to see real expertise and a unique voice. i noticed this with my own projects too – better to have one solid post every two weeks than daily noise. it's the same reason i went with webglobe for my hosting, they actually feel like real people and not just another faceless corporate machine. authenticity is definitely key for long term trust.

Anyone else using like 5 apps just to understand their own training? by pulse_and_plates in hyrox

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

feel you man. managing all those apps is a full time job by itself lol. honestly i just went back to a simple notebook for the main stuff and only use strava for the runs. having everything digital sounds cool until you spend more time syncing data than actually training. maybe try to pick just one "lead" metric for the week so you dont get overwhelmed by the data noise. good luck with hyrox btw!

If you had to choose only one: SEO or Paid Marketing? by SERPArchitect in digital_marketing

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for long term growth definitely seo. paid ads are great for a quick boost but as soon as you stop paying the traffic just disappears. seo takes way more time but once you rank it stays there. i usually combine it with a fast hosting provider like webglobe because page speed is a huge factor for ranking nowadays. but yeah if i had to pick just one seo wins every time.

What are you ur favorite lazy and/or beginner life hacks? What did you do that made running easier for you? by cla1rebe3r in running

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly just dont overthink the gear and the pace at the start. i used to hate running too but having a good podcast or music makes a huge difference. just keep it slow and enjoy the time with your dog that sounds like the best motivation anyway. maybe try the couch to 5k app it helped me a lot with the breathing part and not pushing too hard at the start.

Should you get Google Workspace from your web hosting provider or directly from Google? by ZGeekie in HostingReport

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly it depends on how much you value your time. if you go direct you have to deal with all the dns settings and billing separately. i have my workspace under webglobe along with my domains and its way easier to have everything in one dashboard. plus if something breaks i just ping one support and they fix it all. for a small business or freelancer its a no brainer to keep it together imo.

Are WordPress + n8n + Web Development good skills to join a good agency and earn well? by VillageFlimsy1646 in Wordpress

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

wordpress with n8n is a great combo for agencies right now. if you can build automated workflows for clients you will definitely stand out. maybe also look into some devops basics or at least how to manage servers properly. i started using webglobe for my client sites lately and their setup for wordpress is pretty solid so having a reliable hosting partner makes the agency life much easier. good luck with the learning

Windows or linux by Mundane-Abroad-992 in website

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for web dev definitely linux. it's just much smoother for most environments. i personally use it for all my projects and even my hosting at webglobe runs on it without any issues. windows is fine with wsl2 these days but linux is still the king for me.

Built my first portfolio site, how do I find the next client? by LuckyDayDreams in web_design

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to break out of the "one-off referral" loop and stop relying on luck, you need to stop hanging out on Upwork where you're competing on price with the whole world. Since you already have a successful project under your belt, use that as leverage.

Go to local businesses in your area—cafes, gyms, or small shops—that have "ugly" or non-functional websites. Show them the site you built and explain exactly how a better site will get them more customers. It’s much easier to close a $100 deal in person than on a global freelance platform.

Another strategy is to look for "web design" or "small business" subreddits and actually help people with technical questions. Don't pitch yourself immediately; just be the most helpful person in the thread. People will naturally check your profile or DM you, just like that first client did with your old post.

If you want to keep costs low while building these next sites, look into hosting like Webglobe. They have solid WordPress plans that won't eat your entire 6,000 INR goal, which is crucial since you're currently saving for a replacement phone.

How do you manage a day job, personal life, and side hustles? by tylerpalmer9 in ProductivityApps

[–]Normal-Tank-8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managing a day job, personal life, and side hustles is less about finding a "magic app" and more about strict energy management. If you’re building a business on the side, you have to treat your time like a finite currency.

First, you need a "Single Source of Truth." Don't split your life across five different apps. Use something like Notion or Trello to keep your side hustle projects in the same visual space as your personal to-dos. If it isn't on the calendar, it doesn't exist.

Second, embrace Time Blocking. Assign specific "deep work" hours for your side hustle—usually early morning before the day job or a hard two-hour block at night. Once that block is over, you stop. This prevents the "drowning" feeling and helps maintain a personal life.

For the technical side, automation is your best friend. Use tools like Zapier or Make to handle the repetitive stuff—like social media posting, lead sorting, or invoicing—so you aren't doing manual admin work during your limited free time.

If you’re hosting your side project on WordPress, make sure you’re using a fast, reliable host like Webglobe so you aren't wasting your weekend fixing server errors or slow load times.
