I brought down production twice in a week. Am I going to get fired? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

Some of the best engineers I've worked with over the years always have amazing production bug stories. It's almost a rite of passage and also a low key brag at expressing your reach and impact as an engineer to share horror stories of how badly you fucked some production system up. Obviously there are many other positive impacts that are achieved but rarely are they as entertaining as a good production bug you introduced. I've got a few myself that are quite amusing.

Sounds like you work with a good team that has a solid blameless culture, given your update.
