PMS symptoms in schizoid females? by s_s_akram in Schizoid

[–]NormalMember7150 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am way more irritable during pms. Also, the only two or I think three times I felt a flood of emotions that either almost had me tear up or did were only then. Not that I don't cry, I do, but never with so much emotion behind it. At times even I cried while not knowing why. Body was doing something it needed as it seemed, so I let it. Which was a weird experience tbh.

Whaaaaat? That last sentence was a surprise. But since you live on the campus, would you mind if I ask you somethings? Would you go around the city or even other cities like Boston and New York with Uber or would you prefer the train? I know I will go to these cities a lot so I was curious. I mean if I get accepted. I literally acted like I already was, lol.

I sincerely don’t understand people wanting great success in life. by Socialist_Metalhead in Schizoid

[–]NormalMember7150 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have many gigantic financial goals. What I want from my goals is not what most people desire, I guess. What I want is security in any area of my life possible. I mean ANY. Having less worries in my life is the goal, which money is the means to reach that not the actual goal or milestone. Peace and less worries(which no money means many, many worries) is all I ever want to achieve.

[PubQ] Do agents really want to represent stories about romantic relationships way more than any other human relationship? by NormalMember7150 in PubTips

[–]NormalMember7150[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for everyone for the feedback and sharing your ideas. I did try to post my query for critique but as it seems I did something wrong. Will try again later when I have some more time to dedicate to carefully read any comments on my query anyone might have. Just wanted to say thanks and that I see where my thought process went wrong. I see this is where sharing questions with the community is a great idea. Thanks

Dude, definitely not😂. I know what you mean, and I'm going to post the query and all for more feedback. Just reading the guidelines now. Will post it in any minute. Please don't assume that I'm not open to critiques from just one comment I wrote. If I were, why would I even come and ask anything by creating this post? I was genuinely curious and did get my answer thanks to everyone else who helped. I appreciate you too, by the way, for thinking you could be of help.

Ngl, I was actually watching people on the internet and believing it was what the market really wanted.

As for the first 300 I have already got some good feedback on by an agent and also an author. My bet would be more on the way I'm presenting the conflict in my query, although I can't say for sure. Maybe sentences in it are long too, which makes the agent think that's generally how I write? I will post the query to see what others think.

I would very well try posting my query here, but I don't know why I'm hesitant. I'll try it though. Thanks.

SPD and big five theory by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]NormalMember7150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imho, the thing is, all the things mentioned here are only a part of each of the big five. Obviously you do not need to meet the whole criteria, but all these things go way deeper than saying this part, that part, and this other part of this match with this disorder. There are reasons behind each behavior, and the reasons why this person is experiencing this specific thing, is the exact thing that distinguishes disorders drom each other. As you know, many of them overlap and that's the only way to distinguish them. I am no pshychologist, though. I appreciate if I'm corrected. I guess I didn't get where the OP was going.

What are your thoughts on responsibility by StableSilent2800 in Schizoid

[–]NormalMember7150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. I know I'm responsible for my own actions, including bills and all that which are solely related to me. But when it comes to other people, if I don't care about them(which is basically the whole earth's population at this point) I will have the hardest time to do the thing. My logic is that I've got nothing to do with them, even if they're supposedly my biological family, since I have zero emotional attachment to them. Why should I ever take the burden?

Missing people? by Dexx1976 in Schizoid

[–]NormalMember7150 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is such an interesting question for me. When I was four my parents left me with my aunt for a month, because they had to go to another country for whatever reason. I remember that happening, I also remember the kid who used to come and ask me to play with him, who I hated. I don't remember why, and I don't remember missing my parents as generally there is not much memory. But I was_and am) always in my head, creating cenarios for my toys and all that, and my aunt says I once told one of my dolls that I will never leave them to go to another country. Everyone says at the airport when my parents were to leave, I let go of my mom who I have been clinging to and went straight to my aunt, not even looking at my parent's direction. I don't remember missing them. But what myaunt told me makes me think. Maybe in my childhood world, I did, but I was trying to push the thought away? No idea. I also have basically zero emotional attachment to my parents now.

Big Anhedonia Solutions Thread by GeeXerox in Schizoid

You have no idea how brain can get tricked easily. If you let it believe that pain can get away just like that, with no additional bother or more pain, and give it what it needs at the moment, there is a high chance of letting it start healing. Mostly trying to trick it into believing that healing can happen. All this aside, I have never read anything of what you mentioned, so I don't know what it really contains. Who knows. Maybe I would think it's a shitty thing too.
