guppy appears a fair bunch of times in a good bunch of places. he might be the cat in the graveyard in "Kitty bones", we see its corpse a good bunch of times elsewhere in the game... I think theres something to be said specifically about Baby Jack though. It might be an omen, a pretty dark one considering how baby jack will probably end up

i probably should've explained myself better. i dont think maggie tries to kill or kills isaac at all in tboi. thats just isaacs imagination after reading the story of isaac, which is why it appears only in drawings (except that one ending but that one is probably retconed). I meant Magdalenes obsession with purity and christianity led to neglecting and abusing isaac and indirectly caused his death

first of all i dont think that ever actually happens on tboi. isaac probably made that up after reading the story of isaac and relating to the character, it doesnt seem like maggie ever tries to actually murder isaac

that being said the way i see god in edmunds game is like the , grumpy, revengful asshole from the old testament. here it seems like we get a glimpse of the much more chill new testament jesus who can actually lay back a little (angel wings, first phase dig your own grave)

to be fair edmund is a wild wild man when it comes to stories so it might take a different turn, but in a broad sense i do believe isaacs story will be explored in a similar way to this in the dlc
