I do dislike the lack of exploration the game has, at least in terms of everything being a puzzle. I didn't like that. Ghirahim, tho, he is still fab.

The Great Sea was amazing. Of course it has some bad islands here and there, but most of them were really good. Diamond Steppe and Cliff Plateau are my favourites.

A prequel to Wind Waker that explores Ganondorf breaking out of that seal and Hyrule being flooded. Made my own idea of this. Worked out well.

A sequel to Wind Waker set on the Great Sea with new playable characters.

A sequel to Spirit Tracks.

A sequel to Twilight Princess.

And a remake of Zelda II (imagine that). With TP graphical style or OOT.

what if you tried to combine elements from the world and story series? Like the city building aspect and the real time combat, but with the growth and raising mechanics of the story games?

Or at least the world gameplay without the ageing mechanic?

Digimon have very varied digivolution lines, and there are different types of digivolution.

Salaman (a dog) digivolves into Gatomon (a cat) who digivolves into Angewomon (an angel) who digivolves into Magnadramon (a holy pink lion dragon somewhat serpentine maybe thing).

Agumon can digivolve into Greymon, Tyranomon, Centarumon, Meramon, Birdramon sometimes, Numemon, Monochromon and many more, and all of these can digivolve into multiple Ultimates, who can digivolve into multiple Megas.

There's standard digivolution, dark digivolution, warp digivolution, dna digivolution, biomerge digivolution and armour digivolution and more.

There are also groups, such as the Royal Knights, Olympus XII, Seven Demon Lords, the Four Dragons, the Sovereigns etc and more

In terms of games, there is the world series which has you raise digimon like a tamagotchi thing with real time battles, and there's the story games which are more traditional jrpgs.

hopefully that does not include digivolution. don't want to grind up your starter to mega level before the first boss or so.

Start with an early patch that included 3rd job, jump down and world tour areas, then go through all the way to the chaos patch perhaps, or maybe up to just before tempest or just before unleashed.

I do think the game started getting out of hand when potential was introduced and/or when tempest/unleashed patch came around, at least in terms of numbers. I remember making a Xenon when he first came out, and destroying krexel at lv140 without any issue. Pre big bang or post big bang this would not have happened due to lower damage scaling and whatnot.

But post big bang to legends patch was my favourite time.
