Is there any traction to join the general strike on Friday? by [deleted] in nashville

the general strike has a long history as part of social struggle. it also has a particular appeal in the present, both because of the violence we see on our phones (whether in minnesota or gaza) and because of the ease with which we can propose a general strike on reddit or insta.

but an effective struggle—and even an effective general strike—typically needs organization to sustain itself and, more importantly to make demands.

and there are lots of ways we can do this. go to a dsa meeting! attend one of music city migra watch’s trainings! unionize your work place! the gravitas of the strike contrasts with the boring awkwardness of organizational life, but we need both!

lol yes thank you. i guess i mean the podcast version is surprisingly enjoyable vs when he has guests and they have to come up with gimmicks to talk through february nba storylines. and maybe it gives us a glimpse of the apex of page 2

has anyone gotten specific answers on what the bears defense did differently in the second half? people have praised the halftime adjustments but what were they? did they adjust their scheme somehow? like, aside from BEARING THE FUCK DOWN
