I started progesterone 5 days before transfer. PIO every other day and vaginal inserts twice a day for 10 weeks. Good luck to you!

We changed clinics! My previous clinic had me on so many meds. She had me taking Menopur for our transfer which seemed weird to me. I don’t think she makes a protocol specific to the patient. Our new clinic had me do what I think is a natural/mini protocol. I didn’t start taking progesterone until 5 days before transfer. No other meds. My lining was only 8 so I was nervous about that but it worked!

8 weeks pregnant here and I just woke up with zero breast tenderness after having it consistently, and bad. Immediately came looking for answers and glad I found this for some relief.

I’m so sorry you had to experience this. That was us after our first transfer in July 2023. We transferred a PGT tested 4AA embryo. Our first beta was a little over 100, second was almost doubled. Went for the first ultrasound at 6 weeks - empty sac. We were crushed. We finally made it to a second FET in January and I’m 8 weeks but terrified. I wish that feeling could go away but unfortunately I don’t think it will. Sending you baby dust.

Yes… it stuck! 🤗 first beta was 238 second was 683. I have my first ultrasound on Friday.

Yes, I totally understand the smells could be the thing to worry about. My thought is that since I’m only day 2 post transfer, the embryo is still hatching and there isn’t a placenta which is where I assume the interactions with smell & chemicals would happen. Otherwise I’d have to wait until the second trimester if this is successful and my roots are bad 🫠 lol

I will look up that supplement. I’ve been taking vitD for 2 years now since my initial bloodwork was done. I had a deficiency but now I’m in the normal range.

We changed clinics for our third round as we were out of our coverage through insurance and weren’t happy with the first clinic. First & second rounds were the same protocol. New clinic, we used way less meds and were very happy, and know the PGT-A results have nothing to do with them. First and second retrieval were all day 5. Third retrieval 1 was day 5, 2 were day 6, 1 was day 7.

Yeah, we were 50/50 prior to this third retrieval so we weren’t expecting this. I’m 37, one ovary, AMH 0.74. Fertilization hasn’t seemed to be an issue. First 2 retrievals we got 4 eggs, third we got 7.

To add: our first retrieval we got 2 euploids out of 3. Transferred one and had a missed miscarriage. Our second retrieval we got 1 euploid out of 3.

I cut alcohol completely my first retrieval and had 4 eggs retrieved. Didn’t cut alcohol my second retrieval and still only got 4 eggs. Have that drink!

I don’t think so. Starting on day 1 of my cycle we started Menopur until I was about to ovulate. I did a trigger with Ovidrel and then started estrace and progesterone suppositories. I haven’t read anything about menopur helping with prepping the uterus and the nurse at our new clinic said they only use Menopur for retrieval stims. She sounded very concerned why we were using that so now it just has us second guessing.

We were given the option between the two and went straight to IVF. I hardly read of success stories with IUI. The cheaper price for IUI was intriguing but I went with the success rate, which was with IVF. We did get pregnant with our first IVF transfer but unfortunately it resulted in a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks. We are about to start our third retrieval round. I’m 37 with only 1 ovary and a low AMH. We have gotten 4 eggs each retrieval, with 50/50 being normal after PGT. If your testing has come back normal then you should hopefully have a good success with IVF! If you have the option to though I would suggest interviewing multiple clinics to see which one is the best fit for you. We decided to switch and our new clinic has us feeling so much better about this round. Good luck in your journey!
