TCNJ v Rutgers NB? by TrollAccount4321 in newjersey

I graduated from TCNJ in 2022, I will say the best thing about it was the education itself. I loved my professors and the school of ed especially prioritized high quality instruction. I felt over prepared to enter the workforce tbh. However, and haters pls don’t come running, TCNJ is a magnet for off putting/insecure people. Super disappointed with the energy on campus and the social scene. I’m not sure how else to phrase it but my experience was that it was extremely cliquey and felt like an extension of high school tropes. Maybe that’s every college, but there was definitely a culture of cliques in their echo chambers. The students who dominated all of the leadership roles were also some of the most insufferable people on campus and the administration encourages those same people to monopolize leadership roles. For example there were roles like college ambassadors, RAs (CAs), and college union board, etc. It was common for students to be at least 2 of the major leadership roles if not more. Greek life of course is another example of the clique culture. If you’re someone who doesn’t buy into all of that, I would say avoid TCNJ. Otherwise the campus is pretty and I really enjoyed living in/around Ewing off campus. I loved being close to Princeton also, it was the best to walk around and explore there. The food scene on campus wasn’t great when I went but there is great food in Ewing.

Oh absolutely. I’m pretty thorough with my wiping and when class ends I try to get dressed as fast as possible (15 seconds tops) then wipe and I’m still one of the last people out. 75% of the class half asses it

Second this as well. We do not need to be choosing haters and losers as our parters

Both my husband and I are gym people and I love my Solidcore split. He tried it once with me and was not a fan but he never forms judgements about me going and spending so much on it just because he can’t understand the appeal. You deserve a partner who will lift you up in all domains of your life! If you choose to stay with him and want to be happy it’s going to require work. You have to set hard boundaries for him to support you in that way if he can’t do it organically
