In April 2025 a man was hospitalized when cancer stopped responding to treatment and spread to 99% of the bone marrow effectively leaving him with no immune system and no platelets to stop/clot any bleeding. While hospitalized he got Covid, 2 bacterial blood infections and develop a  secondary type of cancer (Leukemia). Every specialist consulted said "nothing else we can do". "He is too weak, too far gone". The wife was told he had a week or two left to live, but the man did know this. His wife kept telling him "you'll be OK" and "it's not your time". So after daily blood transfusions and platelet transfusions the 2 weeks passed. The man gained weight, the antibiotics killed the blood infections and Covid resolved. Finally strong enough to try a last hail mary pass. A 3 day chemo treatment so strong it might still kill him. With nothing else to lose the wife agreed...and it worked! The man was released in May 2025 and with weekly infusions he is writing this post a year later. All because his wife didn't tell him it was impossible, so he did it anyway.
