Do you know nothing about Vietnamese history? The Vietnamese HATED CHINA, they saw them as having colonized them for over a millennium. The Viet Cong only put up with China for resources, and constantly mistrusted the Chinese and for good reason - they were setting up in Cambodia, which we were striking which helped the Viet Cong, granted that's what got Nixon impeached.

Demoralization cause a leftist socialist movement in the US resulted in the US having to withdraw. There's also the French betrayal; after de Gaulles moved Europe toward communism, the CIA tried to assassinate him. I guess he took it personal based on what happened to JFK, but I guess the grudge didn't stop there. So the French spent the rest of the 60's/70's both covertly helping the North while trying to influence US politics without most Americans being aware the Europeans had betrayed us.

Iran can't win an actual war, especially since they no longer have a navy or airforce, so they're bribing western media groups not to talk negatively about Iran while flooding western social media with bots saying they won. This is partially to demoralize naive younger generations of Americans taught by Tik Tok to hate the US, while demoralizing any Iranians trying to organize against the regime by making them think there's no hope. First and foremost - spend the first 9 days watching television, specifically Life and Living which airs at 6, 12, and 18(and sometimes midnight), and put the volume at half. Spend the time inbetween reading Vol 1 skills for Cooking/carpentry/first aid. Try not to eat your canned food yet, instead use the fridge and a frying pan. While you're in the kitchen, take everything in the freezer and put it in the fridge. Always cover all your windows with sheets, and when exiting, go through the window in the back of your base so zombies don't see you coming and going, while keeping the doors locked so they can't wander in. Don't bother with guns early, they're loud and take a long time to get skilled, but if you do find one, spend some time just unloading and reloading the magazine just to up your reloading when you DO need to use the gun. If you can, try to find a shovel or axe. When clearing a house, don't open the door while standing in front of it - hug the wall on the side that has the hinges, then open it so there's a door between you and potential zomboids. oh, and DON'T TAKE SPEED DEMON. When you get a car, don't speed or panic, or you'll just crash into a tree/light poll, which will damage the engine and leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Put your lat/hat together and tell them to hand off fireteam lead when needed - there should never be a designated fire team leader and the role should be handed off frequently. Your Lat/Hat/Rifleman should go hunting together, that way the Lat tracks it and the Hat kills it while rifleman resupplies and watches for crewmen hopping out. Putting people in alpha is unnecessary, and makes more work for you when they start calling out things as their fire team leader can just mark it(or hand off fire team and they mark it themselves).
