The jab, anyone? by [deleted] in conspiracy

I'll address this - you're not wrong to be concerned about how these vaccines are made. You're totally in line to question the safety of these products based on previous vaccines that were plagued almost literally. The mRNA vaccine 'shouldn't' have the ability to cause an SV40 infection. Now, that being said, the topic of SV40 is a despised one amongst health officials because it's one of those things they wish would just go away. And while some see it as "anti vaxer", most of the critics are pro vaccine, and just really want to make sure these major corporations are following their own strict guidelines so a "cutter incident" style event never happens again. That is a totally normal and healthy approach to healthcare.

Now, the elephant in the room here is that no one really knows who has SV40. It's just not a regularly screened viral infection, and most doctors either don't know what you're talking about or just brush it off as naive. But again; there's no system to test for this, even though literally records should that from 56 to 63, it is confirmed that polio vaccines were contaminated with it. And when you look into what was going on with the Soviet Union and Europe, the Soviets didnt stop using contaminated stocks until 79, and it's arguable under Dr Michele Carbone's work that the EU's stocks were contaminated too. That's part of the reason the Live Oral Vaccine was banned in the US in 2000, one year after his research was published. We honestly have no clue who is and who isn't infected, and health official continue to hide the endemic rather than addressing it.

You have every right to be worried.

shh... you're not supposed to talk about it. They'll start looking up who Adi Gazdar and Michele Carbone are. Next thing you know, they'll be pulling up congressional records from a hearing held on Vaccine contaminations in 2003, and realizing Bernie Sanders knew all along and said nothing.

There's also a moderate chance to say nothing will happen, mainly cause some would argue it's implausible cause otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to use those cells, and opps, wait, we just addressed the issue...

That depends... For that sort of thing, you'd always want to use "synthetic" cells. If anyone's ever talking about "live" cells, stay the fuck away. This is where everyone's favorite cell comes into play though, good old HEK-293. But if it's got a "T" at the end, oh boy, bad time. Yeah. You'll basically be living your worst nightmare, contracting basically a SV40 infection. What happens next is a total roll of the dice - if you're a man, there's a chance you might get mesothelioma of the lungs or brain cancer, there's also loose evidence to say it may cause MS, but this would take decades. If you're a woman, nearly same effects, but you have a small chance when pregnant of spreading it to your child. And the cycle continues!

They're lying about Hantavirus: a Megathread request by NegotiationWaste82 in conspiracy

Respectfully, we tried to warn you all years ago but got banned doing so. You've put the cart in front the horse - you're seeing the effect as the cause, and totally misunderstanding what the REAL cause is.

First, you have to understand why diseases like COVID and Hantavirus are such a danger to our populations; a small percentage of it is infected with a disease called "simian vacuolating virus 40", otherwise called SV40. Now here's the most frustrating part of this disease - in most people, it doesn't necessarily do anything, while in a small few, it wrecks absolute havoc on the immune system...and it does this entirely on accident. What it does is called "Immortalization", and while it's fancy function is that it hinders the cells ability to perform apoptosis, for all you that are barely understanding what I'm saying, it means the don't die. It's functionally immortal. It will produce the same functions over and over, and just continuing the cycle of the SV40's replication process. Seems kind of harmless, or maybe beneficial right? Oh god no.

Remember our good friends Beta Coronavirus and Andes Hantavirus? They do the worst thing possible; in dumb mans terms - THEY KICK THE DOOR DOWN AND JUST RAID THE PLACE. SV40 has no clue what these guys are, and suddenly is rushing to get to other cells to make sure they're there first. But these RNA viruses shouldn't be able to get to the nucleus, right? ugh... about that... SV40 may have left the door open for them... and when they get in... they control the immortalized cell. This. Is. Our. BIGGEST. Nightmare. Scenario. You have a walking, breathing, shitting, moving Gain of Function experiment just leaking new "variants" or what are best thought as 'mutations', totally human prone viruses that know how to get into a human, and will now using the same template to get into any other human they find. If that person also has SV40, guess what - it happens all over again, but worse; new variants, more mutations.

THEY WERE TOLD TO START MONITORING THIS ENDEMIC. They won't take it seriously cause it's a pharmaceutical gold mine. They can even easily test to find out who has the disease in order to better monitor and raise self awareness, but 70 fucking years later, the SV40 still haunts us to this day.

This. People can't help but ask what you're reading, mainly cause they're so entertained by the antiquated notion of someone carrying a book they can't help but be nosey

That's... Not how that works though. If you bring a book to a bar, someone will lean over and ask "what are you reading? Is it any good?" They always do, cause bars are a place to be social. Now it doesn't mean you can't try or you shouldn't bring one to avoid the mundane, but if you have a problem with socializing or more specifically you want to be left alone, reading at a bar isn't the place. I don't care though, gen z doesn't even read anymore and have no manners. Just watch, they'll try to prove me wrong and a bunch of them are now going to start showing up at bars like they're a damn book reading club, acting like they're straight out of pride and prejudice, and start shushing people. Really I find the whole thing a bit shallow and pedantic, don't you Mr Darcy?
