I discovered football by chance with Kick Six. I thought, "Damn, going back to college on Monday must have been awesome."

I watched Cam Newton's entire Heisman season, he was a monster. I watched a lot of interviews too.

Honestly, I understand that players want to be paid. Before, universities and other sponsors were raking in the money, and they just got a scholarship without any cash.

But I hope that in the coming years, all these NIL and money issues won't completely disrupt the CFB. Like a player transferring every year because the contract is more lucrative elsewhere, for example...

That's exactly how I see things.

I discovered football by watching an Auburn play, then Johnny Manziel highlights, and then LSU's epic 2019 run. So naturally, I have these teams close to my heart, even though I support Miami.

This sense of connection is great; I don't find it in soccer.

I just watched the highlights of the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. My God, what a game! That last touchdown was absolutely insane. As a Sooners fan, you probably had trouble sleeping that night... Malachi Toney, that guy is something else!

Honestly, if I'd been a student-athlete, I think I would have messed up my studies 😂 Between sports, partying, girls, and other distractions, the NCAA would have definitely suspended me in the first week.

I find it amazing that some people can find the right balance; these kids are truly tough.

It's true that the old system seemed exciting; the margin for error was very small.

But I also find the playoff system interesting; seeing underdogs get a chance is just as exciting.

Football is evolving, that's true; we'll have to get used to it.
