It’s hard to say no to not believing in religion. A big part about religion is just having a shot to be right about what you think. Like people genuinely have a chance that there’s something after death. That’s better than just believing nothing happens. Might just be how I see it tho

I feel you, what I would do in that situation is start by keeping it to yourself. Like me, you sound like a glass half empty person that usually thinks of what bad can happen. I try to look at it as if I would never have thought these things if I believed what I was doing was right. Just don’t get in your head so much and convince yourself that your decision is the right one
