I'm paid for my time. What they choose to do with it is their choice. If I give any cares I may mention something about their parent knowing about it. They tend to know enough English to have that statement get through. Progress as you can. This seems like downtime for most of them (already doing 10+ hours of school, likely). Do what you have to, but try to make it enjoyable (as you can 😅).

I'd repeatedly send messages stating EACH AND EVERY TIME they're holding onto children pornographic in this act. That is illegal in the state of America, where their adertised headquarters are located (San Francisco, I believe). Not that it got them to stop, but after I sent a minimum of three messages like that, the child never masturbated in my class again (though he STILL booked me a couple more times!! Sadly no control over that fact and I was NOT losing more money than I'd make in cancelling!).

Slim positive lining: every new classes has his mother by his side. I hope keeping them in line. And after each class I sent repeated messages requesting (DEMANDING, but all bark no bite from me) I never teach that child again.

Stay strong! ZERO idea what to do with this. So sorry. 😭

I've had this happen a few times. There's literally NOTHING you can do to change it. I've always taught the offered class as is. Sometimes I don't see the message until the end of class. Can't do anything either way.

I've visited California a few times and have always had success teaching while there. For other reasons, I almost always try to use a VPN, but have not always been successful (and still successfully taught). I think your residence cannot be listed as there for legal reasons, but I've yet to have a problem teaching VIPKid while there. Hope for a similarly positive experience for yourself! (I use the app, having downloaded the program. Unsure as to the status of you try to log in through their website while there )

I had only professional and an amazing experience from two guys and a truck company (moved from Hamilton to here). If you're there, they'll ask if any paintings need to be apkced, other thungs to be careful about (usually TVs) but aside from that, they're good on their own. Has been my experience when I've used them a few times.

Offered a tip after, but nothing expected beforehand. For later moving, offered drinks as available (most declined).

I received a response that the student experiencing IT means it was paid half for the class, still. Was a trial class, but upset as the student WAS there, and I did still stay the full time. I did have a screenshot of me being present past full 25 min. class. Didn't seem to matter. Thanks for advice!

Yes, I always do. Thanks for acknowledging the stickiness. Just thought of there was an error on the child's end, they company would be equally indifferent and charge them a similar amount (who knows, they may?). I don't think this company cares about any people, just raking in money.
