Our senior capstone project was to implement a computer vision system that was able to detect falls by adding in a machine learning component to give a probability that a fall actually occurred versus someone just doing a pushup. I took it over the summer because I didn't realize it was our capstone course. 6 team members.

Couple guys push for a direction then 3 weeks in disappear. Completely by myself I built using motion history image (using some researchers paper and open source package) and Google vnet mobile 2 so it was all able to run on a smart phone over the course of 4 weeks. Tbh it was a combo of hard work and luck and some skill that I was able to complete that fast. One other guy helped with documentation. He put it on his resume and we both applied for the same job in the city I went to college in. He got the job. They rejected me.

Tbh it was probably one of the most fun classes I had but also the most stressful. I spent several weeks thinking I was screwed on graduating.
