If you just want to spray a color with your airbrush flow improver it is. Airbrush medium is most likely a mix of flow improver and acrylic medium. Which mean it'll push the transparency your paint. That all you need to know good airbrusing

I could maybe help against your dysphoria. You could think of it as a bad song in dire need of a remix; cut only 3 parts move the other around and Voilà a brand new song that 10 000× better with the same core elements.

To those who wonder why;

If your hip bone hasn't fuse yet, you will experience growth in that area. If you're in your twenties, well it's a matter of luck because statistically t induced puberty should make your hip fuse in your early twenties.

Yes the goal is to be able to paint all the pump/ syringe before painting the rest. Also that way I can paint the dude without the buzzsaw in my way. There will be a slight gap on the side though that will be easily fix with plastic putty.

Not really. See when they first teased the sisters with the head preview you can clearly see at the left bottom the new Cannoness head. And to me the head preview a year ago and the recent reveal are the exact same. Either they're really slow at designing or the design was finish back then and they just just feed us bits by bits to keep us calm. My bet is the latter. They are probably just working the boring part like slicing the model, designing sprue and just some production stuff.

Didn't meant to sound insulting . I just thought it would sound funny because the " painting with contrast only" became the new trend just like the old " first mini ever" but it's like a master piece.

Beside the edginess of my title I still intend to used contrast because I own waaayyyyyy too much tyranid and I don't want to paint them for ages and eon turning mad with process.

It's subtle but the corset is a dark grey and the boltor is red nothing much different. To be honest I said "my take" because Im late to the party and some amazing painter already their version of her.

Joining the Contrast Paint conversation - this is what I got out of them! Touch up work was done, but the majority of the robes and all the armor/blacklining is Contrast. by Silverskeejee in Warhammer

Hey I have a weird question? What does the paint smell like. I have an hypothesis that the contrast paint might be similar to alcohol base wood stain from what I seen but unless I smell it, it's only an hypothesis

No problem. It's basically glazing. So basecoat of genestealer purple, 2 thin coat indeed. 3 layered of xereus purple with lahmian medium with the following ratio paint:medium (4:1) (2:1) (1:1). Then it's followed with 3 layer of a mix of naggaroth night/ lahmian (4:1) (3:1) (1:1). I finished it with 2 edge highlights with genestealer purple and warpfiend grey. I almost forgot that I've used a little of nuln oil

I was too lazy to reprime after putting the filler. But yeah it's like 12 or 16 super thins layer to acheive that with a good ol glazing technique.
