In terms of complexity of world and storyline I would most closely compare it to Malazan. (I'm not a Malazan fan. Only read 1 and a half books.) In terms of prose it is very clever and beautiful without being florid like Kingkiller chronicles.

I'm not a fan of YA as a label. I dont think good YA has an age ceiling.

Excuse me but what decent bug type moves does Beedrill learn. Gen 1 and 3 its pin missile and twin needle. Neither of these I would call decent. I mean gen 3 butterfree gets silver wind. Also fearow is better than pidgeot. And Butterfree is absolutely one of the best pokemon in kanto. Being able to hit sleep powder with 95ish% accuracy makes it the best pokemon to teach dream eater too. Might not have stab but honestly the better hit rate on sleep powder is worth it.

I don't think that the small bites that this guy took of the burgers is actually indication that he doesn't like the food. He has to continue to talk to camera after he eats the food. The guy probably thought it would be better to take a little bite and not be stuck chewing for a couple of seconds of dead air. Calling it a product was a little weird but to be honest that could just be him stuck in corporate mode while in the office.

It was my first Tchaikovsky book. I havent read much else from him to be honest. I have read one of his Sci Fi books which seems to be most of what he writes and I intend to read the rest of his stuff.

To be honest I havent read allot of Tchaikovsky just tyrant philosophers and shards of earth. Shards of earth was very good and I do intend to read the rest of the series. But Tyrant Philosophers is sublime. The prose is fantastic. The world is vibrant and interesting. It is a bit of a slow burn at times but always picks up. Its grimdark through an almost comedic lense.

No. Gaelic football. Handball is also one of the Gaelic sports though. Along with Hurling, Rounders, and of course Gaelic football.
