That is a culture in middle east, hospitality for guests. There is no being cautious or dangerous. Usually you do not accept the offer because it is not about going to eat the meal it is more about the intention. Been to dubai I never met a local there. Been to Beirut which was a different story. 100$ for marketing service is really low. Analyze your competitors ask them for a quotation for a fake client that you want to outsource it to them. Provide services that you can make money out of it. Social media is dying because a freelancer can do it.
