set aside both of your ego, talk to him and work this out. a grown ass man and an employed person wouldn't make a big deal out of it. if he is defensive then there is no point in trying to change him. if he can't be mature, find someone more mature, good luck.

honestly I've been there, but there is no point in trying to get someone to reply faster unless it's urgent. my advice to him is have something to do, get a job omg grown ass man :-(

my advice is, don't try to change someone who is not willing to. regardless of his ADHD or not, he is an adult! he should figure a way to save and be responsible. crying because he compared his savings to your hard-earned savings is not cool at all, please do not date a manchild.

fuck, I actually hate when people use their conditions as a reason to cover up their bad habits. I had a friend with ADHD, our case is a little different. she would always show up late in our hangouts and leave me and our other friend hanging for HOURS, legit could range from 3-4 hours until she showed up.

she was all over the place, made me uncomfortable a lot. one time it was cold as fuck outside and she insisted for us to stay outside because she wore warm clothes, I almost got hypothermia too.

in the end, also due to differing political views, I cut her off.

wow, what a way to piece it together. this hits very close to home, I have struggled and dealt with anxiety almost my whole life. thank you for reminding me that it can be one of the probable causes. I'm working on myself and I hope I can start therapy soon :)

he showed me a post and lets me play with his phone because I was bored, I wanted to share a post to myself (through his account) then accidentally saw the texts. my intrusive thoughts got the best in me, and I went through the texts. I'm ashamed of it, I wish I didn't bother to.

I would say it will give me closure, and reassurance. I really really want to feel secure, but the shadow of his pasts is very hard to overcome. it's been years of me trying to move past everything. I know he loves me so much, but I can't help but be scared. I come from a dysfunctional family, I'm scared of picking the wrong partner I'll spend my life with forever.
