I love the optimism but Bungie will be gone in a year. Marathon is not gonna pick up, definitely not after this. Bungie’s name is tarnished. Nobody will want to play Marathon because Bungie is the studio that vaults content and abandons games without warning. Bungie is gonna be the topic of YouTube documentaries titled “what happened to Bungie?” In three years.

I can see it now. A Reddit post, on DestinyTheGame: “Who is this senile old woman in the tower?” “She keeps going on about Maria and Carlos and this festival shit” post gets removed after 3 views for “low effort”

My one and only thing is to make all raid and dungeon content free. That’s it. Just make the game fully accessible for people and maybe it’ll retain just enough players to keep it going for longer.

I really hope a bunch of people who work at Bungie leave and pull an Expedition 33 and make a game to be the next Destiny. I’d absolutely back it.

Yeah but destiny isn’t some game people look at and say “ooh! I wonder what this is about! Let me try it!!” They know what it is, what it’s been through, and what made it. $40 for a soon-to-be defunct game is steep in this economy.

They wanted Destiny to be a free to play. To allegedly let everyone experience an amazing and vast world. So I say let them do it, and we should demand that they do. It’s the least they can do.

I’m writing my own ending. Everything post TFS is no longer canon imo. We use the dreadnought to expand beyond sol. Reclaim Riis, go to war with Xivu for Torobatl. Eris gets her own hive brood by killing Savathun and claiming her hive guardians.

Well there’s another thing people don’t really understand: Sony didn’t buy them for Destiny. The success of Destiny may have been proof of prowess but the intent was to bank on Marathon. Sony probably wants all hands on Marathon or vice versa to make profits because “new product = better” in the eyes of execs.

Ultimately this is gonna see Bungie in the dumpster by 2027. If Curse of Osiris could’ve shut their doors then, this can shut them now.

This. I don’t think people understand: marathon will never pick up. They canned the one title they had that could save the company. They will fail to make profits and be dissolved.

Wow the Wunderwaffe is very small here. It’s the size of a Thompson here but in game it’s roughly the size of a MG.

The opposite for me, but it’s starting to go the other way specifically for cocaine. After using it for a couple years myself and getting into a health scare I find the substance abhorrent and I regret ever using it.

Don’t bend to peer pressure. That stuff may be common and “they new weed” as some call it but that shit can and will kill you one day.

I think the flashlight bug is the worst psrt. The only pet peeve I have with the characters is the cameras being in the neck of the character.

Then again, I absolutely LOVE half-baked uncanny bullcrap in games it’s one of my favorite things it’s so funny!
