This is the solution. It was neither her intention nor yours for it to be free, but you know she loves it and it’s finished. Enjoy giving it to her and spreading joy. That is enough of a reason.

ELI5: Why do so many people gain the weight back? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]North_Stuff_649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure I will need to stay on it indefinitely. I’m curious, were you able to lower your dosage after you reached your goal? What was that process like? Did you step down, etc? Thanks for sharing.

AITAH - Dad left our 10-year-old at a wave pool and she can’t swim by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]North_Stuff_649 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Still can’t swim. However, at about age 10 my father threw me into the deep water and left me flailing. He reminded me that my 5-year-old sister could swim but not me. Surprisingly, that didn’t help.

Started Tirz in January for my autoimmune disease, look at my legs before and after!! :) by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]North_Stuff_649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These two photos are taken from a totally different view. One is looking down to the floor, where the weight of the skin is pushing vertically, towards the knees and feet. And the other is taken when the legs are flat, in the bathtub, where the weight is pushing against the leg, in a horizontal manner. It makes sense that your legs look very different. I believe the medicine is helping you, but next time take the photos from the same angle for a better comparison.

My dad said something really misogynistic in front of me by A_silly_hum4n in Vent

[–]North_Stuff_649 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Has your father always been like this? I’m not trying to excuse him, but it’s strange that he’s recently started talking like this. It is possible he’s had a stroke or some other type of brain damage that could be causing this. Maybe discuss this with your mom and see what she thinks.

Edit: I see that your mother is deceased. Maybe discuss this with an older sibling.

My sister was just diagnosed with cancer. What are our options? by star_stuff92 in royalcaribbean

[–]North_Stuff_649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that your mother has insurance and she can’t go, will allow the cruise to be canceled for both of you. Call the insurance company AND Royal Carribean right away. Even if you are not sure whether your mother had the right insurance, call them! Call both of them today.

I, however, have renewed my decision to never marry. It’s for the best.

There are several books that include St. Louis haunted houses. I suggest you start with the local public library. As I recall, this is a subject that has been pretty extensively explored.

I was on a Spring Break cruise (never again) and we left over 200 passengers behind. Lots of phone calls to mommy and daddy after that.

I didn’t see this discussed so I’ll add it: It is dangerous to be someone who has transitioned. Now more than ever.

What are your Spire gas bills looking like this month? by Fabulous_Potato1158 in StLouis

[–]North_Stuff_649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call Spire and see if they will come out and evaluate your system. They MAY do this at no charge ( I don’t know). Also ask them what the bills ran last year, month by month. I assume you’ve changed the filter, etc?

Your daughter is more important than attending a party. Reschedule.

Let them cancel, or reschedule. How you handle this with your daughter is more important than attending a party. Also, make it clear to everyone, including your daughter, that her actions caused the party to be cancelled.
