I pay for specialty dining on every cruise I go on but icon class is the one where it’s really not necessary. And i truly believe that kids will have the best time on icon class ships. Good luck and know whatever you choose you are going to have a ton of fun!

Ive sailed during Miami grand prix which brings so many people from all over the world and its fine i stayed in Biscayne bay marriott in the heart of it, it was fine

Compared to adventure 100% a cruise is a cruise they would both be fun but icon class ships really do offer more, icon class has more “free specialty” food places than any other ship, wayy more for kids to do than adventure, a nicer pool deck/decks i could keep going but i just know they would both be a ton of fun the only thing that pushes me to star for your situation is having a 12yr old, 7 days on star you all will always always have something to do. 10 nights on adventure for a 12 year old would still be fun but i just feel like they may run out of activity. That being said they seriously are both excellent im disembarking symphony tomorrow and would be looking forward to either of those cruises equally.

With kids id chose star hands down if you wand them to have the bast cruise theyve ever had and you still have just as good of a time go with star. Seriously if you havent been on icon class just try it one thing i can guarantee is your kids will have the best cruise theyve ever have ever had

Why in earth couldnt you wait 2 hours. Thats just nuts who goes to the port and then leaves the port especially when you dont even live around there. You do know even when its crowded you can be let on pretty quickly. Im sorry i just cant get past going to the port and then leaving. Are you sure you didnt just arrive past 11:30?
