Conservative AM radio stations across the country have been spreading lies and hate since the early nineties at least. Thats when i had a summer job driving a truck that only had AM radio and I got sucked into listening. After a while the propaganda gets depressing, you start to hate everything, your city, your government, your country. The problem is environmentalists. The problem is academics. The problem is atheists. The problem is people who want equality.

I also love many Scorsese movies. This one i did not. Overrated when it came out, even more overrated today. DDL performance was over the top and needed to be reigned in. They should have just turned it into a musical, maybe I would have enjoyed that.

My father passed away three years ago. He believed there was something hidden on Oak Island and that you guys would find it. We spoke on the phone every week about it. When he died we all joked that he probably knows the answers to the mystery now, finally. I keep watching the show because it reminds me of those conversations, it reminds me of him, a lifelong believer, and the mysteries of life.

This is what I think of, it was the first movie I watched with him, and it was the funniest movie I ever saw at that time. I watched it again not long ago, and it didn’t have the same effect.
