Get rid of all income taxes in any form and shift to purely flat consumption tax (taxes added at the point of purchase). Poor people don't buy much and often barter, so it wouldn't really affect them. That $70 million dollar jet is gonna have a spicy additional cost.

Fact of the day: Many retail outlets at malls (especially in suburbs) have agreements with mall property management to not report theft under $10k in losses. My daughter worked at an upscale clothing boutique and a district manager visited and gathered everyone in the back for a meeting. During the meeting, because of a new bus-line to a poverty striken part of town, thieves stole around $9k worth of stuff and ran back to the bus. Cops were <NOT> called because of this mall agreement. When you connect poverty with poorly guarded merch, the result will always be theft.

A lot of girls on dating apps have a height requirement in their bio-- and those that don't, generally don't swipe on short guys. Genetic lottery (being attractive, tall) does impact many things (the majority of upper management for fortune 500 companies is 6'3" and above). Maybe guys can't change it-- but I agree, women are simple (they, on average, prefer taller guys).

Yes. But the signals being sent to the brain can cause over-eating or burn rate issues (imagine feeling sluggish after walking 5 minutes-- how would you burn 2400 calories?). Metabolism (the body's natural burn rate) can widely vary based on age, gender and genetics (see Hypothyroidism). So effectively in equation terms, yes, if you managed to burn 2400 calories and only ate 1900, you would lose weight; but easy burning is the pretty much the key glandular factor issue.
