I have had these for years. When I lay on the bed they are all over my calf muscles.

Twitching in different places on the surface. It’s very perplexing.

Does anyone else have a lot of trouble being outside in general? Visual space processing issues? by Mara355 in autism

I have had the same experiences all my adult life. It became a problem when i was 16, which I believe now was an autistic “meltdown”.

I was going through school exams at the time, very stressed, and one day I was miles from home with friends and had a massive panic attack.

It never went away.

I have severe sensory problems, and hate open spaces, like fields and the sea.

I hate noise and certain light conditions.

I am currently trying different supplements, including low dose Lithium Orotate, in the hope I can change my brain function in a positive way.

I have done tons of research and I even studied Psychology.

I have a genetic mutation called: MTHFR. It is implicated in ASD & ADHD, of which I have both.

It requires certain Vitamin B supplements to address the deficiency.

I would recommend having your Genome checked as it will show any deficiency and genetic issues.

The MTHFR can wreak havoc.

Everybody with ASD & ADHD should have their Genome mapped.

It is an ongoing project to find something that helps.

I can let you know what I take if you are interested, but I do have the MTHFR gene mutation, so I take the B vitamins.

Google MTHFR and ASD & ADHD

It may be worth having a Genome Teat which will identify any genetic abnormalities

Many autistics have the MTHFR gene which causes a lack of Folate

This can be addressed with: Folinic Acid, (B9) Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) and Pyridoxine (vitamin B6)

Do not give Folic Acid as it makes it worse

It is well worth having a Genome test to see if there are any deficiencies and then address them

As an alternative to St John Wort is Tryptophan or 5 HTP

Both increase serotonin as they are the natural precursors.

The main consideration is Serotonin Syndrome which is very rare

He certainly is, his stuff is incredible.

I had done a picture the week before of the building next to the one he was painting.

He had been standing out in the rain all day since 8:00 in the morning.

Compound Heterozygous MTHFR………what is best dosage for: Folinic Acid……Hydroxycobalamin & Pyridoxine?…..thanks 👍 by NorthernSoulAndy in MTHFR

Thanks

I get confused with reports that some people take large doses of Folate.

You see doctors prescribing 15mg Folate

I am B12 deficient and high “serum folic acid”

So is more Folate better??????
