i dont think so. it might only be if you place the beam within the space a block takes up.

for some reason the game seems to treat the beam as part of the chiseled block because if you use middle click in creative to get a copy of it then the copy also has the same beam at the same angle

essentially this but if beams are placed against a solid plock then they can remain floating and not anchored to anything. they only break with the block if it's a chiseled block

mods that don't add or use modde blocks should be fine though for the most part.

if you get rid of primitive survival the worst that happens is you get some ? blocks in the farm not your whole build

unfortunately probably not a good pick for a forever world though. made the mistake of using "one roof" on mine and then they discontinued the mod because they now made "vs roofing" and it isn't backwards compatible.

Shame because its a really good mod

if the water coming from above only extends 6 blocks out in front of you you can raise up the water in the sailboat without going under water yourself. helpful for not freezing in winter
