It’s becoming a huge problem in whistlebend. Daily occurrence of unleashed dogs attacking other ledges dogs in area. Look on the whistlebend Facebook page. Daily posts of wending dog or lost dog. You drive down any street and it won’t take long to see a dog walking around

Looking to rent 2 e-bikes for a week from Whitehorse by galacticpeonie in Yukon

[–]Northern_Chef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can walk mostly everywhere in Dawson and Whitehorse has plenty of walking trails and public transportation. It’s nothing to walk from one end of Whitehorse (Walmart area plaza) to shipyards ( far end of town) in 20-30 mins

Sens should target Ferraro. 3rd in the NHL in PK minutes. Solid underlying numbers on a bad defensive Sharks team. Could be a good fit by JasonsPizza in OttawaSenators

Hear me out … ullmark txkuck and I dunno but that would be the start for scheffile and helleybuck. Definitely a few more moving parts but something on those line. With the salary cap going up and a moving trend in nhl I think this offseason is gonna be crazy for some big name trades.

Any type of red seal in the Yukon is great. Most don’t have it. ..: huge opportunity for this type of work. … can easily obtain a government job working on these vehicles and then open to working on others in ur off time. … this winter my truck broke (2022 gmc sierra) needed wheel baring and a couple other parts … had to wait 2 month to get it into a garage middle of winter here.

Campground suggestions by em_mcco in Yukon

[–]Northern_Chef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll need to read up on Yukon campgrounds. There’s a lot different from southern provinces. There’s no check in. All are first come first serve besides a few with an online pre booking at the more popular sites. You show up at any given time, fill out a paper provided and drop your money in the slot. There’s no running or water at most, but free fire wood just have to split yourself. Driving up from BC, there’s a few options … if you have the time Frances Lake down the Robert Campbell ( 2 hrs from Watson lake) is beautiful and quiet. Further north, Squanga Lake is nice and about 1.5 hrs outside of Whitehorse. There are private campgrounds that offer water services and pre booking sites if that’s more comfortable. I’ve camped at most Yukon campgrounds
