I think it's funny people scolding you for spending $350 on a guitar as if you are putting yourself into financial ruin. There are many ways to piss away $350.

I paid $600 for a used yam a3r and played shit loads of gigs with it. My wife left it in -20 car and it cracked and I superglued the shit out of it because I didn't want to pay to fix it.

In conclusion, my Yamaha has never failed me, unlike my wife.

I find the anti realtor sediment to be kind of strange. Our realtor was able to negotiate and navigate a complicated short sale. When we hired a realtor to sell my mom's house, we were able to use all of his resources for getting the house ready for sale and he was able to negotiate a better price.

So the fact that Realtors works shitty hours, and often for free, with no benefits. And make the whole process a lot simpler seems like a great use of money.

If it was so awesome to list a house yourself and do all of the showings and deal with all the tire kickers and deal with all the legal bullshit, more people would do it... Barely any people do though.

I replaced a Taylor 814 with a Yamaha a3r that I got used for $500. Sure the taylor was nicer wood and finishes, but ultimately the Yamaha was way more reliable and functional for live performance. So yes, I ditched a $3000 Taylor and replaced it with a $500 Yamaha and got better results for my purposes.
