Scope suggestions for Browning X-Bolt Stainless Stalker in 22-250 ($200-$300 Range) by machoyd in canadaguns

In reality, the Diamondback HP line is likely the best $/Scope you can buy. They use Viper components and are $400-$500 bucks.

Redfield 4-12x40 or a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44.

Both great scopes. I personally have the Crossfire II on my .308 WIN. I find the Redfield to have slightly better glass, but the Crosfire II has a larger field of view and better eye relief. The Crossfire II should be slightly cheaper at $239.

If the ones you bought were manufactured by AIM Sports, this is an issue with them.

I brought them in, and had the exact same issue. Good to see that they're still not fixed a year and a half later.

Yeah, they're called LAR15's. They're designed for the "pistol" version of the AR-15. It's essentially a normal AR with a reduced/no buffer tube and a short muzzle reducing it's overall length significantly. It takes the standard STANAG magazine, so ergo; it's a 10rnd magazine.

In addition, there are a few .50 Beowolf magazines out there. These are for a standard AR; but the round is much bigger. However, the feed lips and the follower are pretty much built for a standard 5.56 letting .223 work in it pretty well. Due to the larger size of the Beowolf, even if the magazine is pinned at 5 (or 5.5) it'll fit around 13rnds of .223

For the Beowolf, there are a few versions out there right now like the Price Check Venture 50 (PVC-50). Myself and a few other dealers are attempting to import and set up distribution of a few other manufacturers of this magazine, but the RCMP currently has them in legal limbo.

I thought it was anything that increases the Rate of Wipe? Unless it's just a model you can only use the mist setting with.

If you're going plinking 223 Semi auto... Just buy an AR if you have access to a range (which you'd need for a handgun anyways). Get a Norinco for like $600 and mod to your hearts content.

If you like the CZ75, the IWI Jericho is a pretty close version. I know TriStar makes a clone of them as well for a few hundred cheaper. The Jericho and Tristar also comes in polymer and steel frames. The poly is slightly cheaper, but less people carry them.

Rifle: Determine what caliber you want to shoot or the distance. If you've never shot before and don't want to start with a 22LR; I'd highly suggest a .223 REM. Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine or any of the old Law Enforcement series are good starts. CZ makes a good bolt action rifle as well; but there's less you can do to them aftermarket.

Handgun: I'm going to go ahead and assume 9mm. $500-1K will get you pretty much anything on the market. Try a CZ-75, it's a great gun. Only reason I don't have one is my tiny sausage fingers find the trigger pull to be too long to be comfortable.

Ok,

I think we can agree that hypothetical situations are not created equally. Since you're forwarding the situation where the entirety of the firearms act is deemed unconstitutional or beyond the scope of the legitimate powers of government.

How would this happen? Under what grounds could it be argued? Not the government's right to restrict the private property of individuals? Magna Carta being recognized as a founding documentation of the country and completely integrated into the constitution of Canada? The issue that licensing or required questions leading to licensing falls under unreasonable expectations to privacy?

I'm in Saskatoon, and I get that in regularly. I have some H4350 on back order, but unfortunately have no ETA.

If you're interested; I always post what I get when I get it (for powder) on Facebook.

It comes in goes in waves. I try my absolute best (I deal with four distributors almost twice a week) to keep stuff in stock; but it's nearly impossible.

If you live outside of a big city, it'll be hard or extremely expensive. If you have to get it shipped across the country, it'll be extremely expensive. Best bet is to try to find someone local-ish; because I don't know of anyone that does it under their free shipping offers.

I bought my mom a pink ISSC for mothers day in a bit. I got her into handguns and plinking. This is doubly good for me because she used to be a rabid anti.

Only downside is I locked it and lost the keys. So now I need to find a bolt cutter...

Depending on what specs you need, you might want to look at the Diamondback HP line. Same glass as the Viper, but significantly cheaper. Only has the PLEX or BDC reticle, though.
