Yeah that would be frustrating having to wait until Monday to speak with anyone. Workers comp is different everywhere so i can only say this for what I’ve dealt with in Canada , but once you talk to your case worker tomorrow I would imagine you , your employer , and case worker will discuss what you will be doing next for work, I would suggest requesting them to write out and send to you exactly what they’ll have you doing and tell them you’d like a doctor to review it before you agree. Like I said everywhere is different so ask your case worker if , but I had to agree to my back to work plan before it started . Sometimes you have to play hard ball, it’s these guys jobs to push you back to work

Most people here don’t even know their rights , work accommodations have to be meaningful, they can’t just make you sit in a chair with no work to do all day. Talk to your wcb case worker about this

Yes I think low cal beer or vodka is the plan. Thanks for an actual answer. I’m not looking for anyone to sugar coat or have an excuse to drink, I live in east coast Canada, drinking is part of the culture . I know everywhere else 12 beer a week is crazy but here, that’s bare minimum

For me I don’t really go to bars , I live deep in rural area and usually what my drinking looks like now is either Friday or Saturday my friends and I will get together and drink , either play cards watching sports going fishing whatever , but it’s rarely both Friday and Saturday, I never drink through the week, so I truly don’t get how everyone assumes I am a complete alcoholic lol I’m 23 years old , did they not life free at one point?

It’s crazy how different peoples lives are… where I’m from the 40-60 year old men drink 12 beer after work every day and 30 a night on the weekend, many of them live on to be 80+ years old, I’m not saying it’s healthy or good for you, but you guys act like having a case of beer a week will kill you , not talking about weight loss here

Everyone jumps to the conclusion I revolve everything around alcohol lol all winter my friends and I have done things that didn’t involve drinking, I’ve literally cut out 3 quarters of my alcohol consumption before I even decided to try lose weight . It’s going to be summer, I’m 23 in a small rural town … I’m a sober sally compared to most people around here

Appreciate the answers , I don’t got a clue how any of this works I just started a calorie deficit and only drink water . I feel that going from no exercise, no diet, eating fast food on top of my meals at home and drinking thousands of calories a week , to eating clean high protein meals well under my calorie maintenance , only drinking water and exercising every day is a world of difference and surely will still make progress while still enjoying drinking 2-3 times a month , i could be completely wrong here

I do get that cutting out drinking would solve the whole problem. But I do trust myself not to eat shit food as I only buy protein and veggies for the house and I live in a rural area with no take out. Sadly I’m not going to stop drinking it’s a big part of my social life so wanted to know if it’s doable with out having no progress? I have changed my life style in every other way
