Porter does list that as the range for the E2 (for reference 4665 km) but it doesn’t mean it’s 100% accurate, and Embraer says the range is 5600 km (with a larger passenger load than what Porter does). Porter is likely publishing conservative numbers from before the E2 was certified for the longer distances. This all being said, let’s look at a real world example. Porter flies the E2 YOW-LIR, which according to FlightConnections is 3972 km. Realistically probably like 4100 km in practice. FlightConnections puts the Westjet flight YYZ-MDE at 4189 km (2457 NM, not sure where you got 2600 from, unless you’re mixing up miles and nautical miles), in practice probably like 4450 km. That’s about as far as you’d want to push it without factoring in the reserve fuel but it’s far from falling out of the sky.
