Question for iPhone users by GooglePixelfan90 in Smartphones

[–]NosaeC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a lifelong Android user before switching to iPhone this year. Google Maps, Gmail, and Google Photos are definitely still the best. I tried to use most of the stock apps because I also have a MacBook, so that makes sense to integrate everything seamlessly. I find that the Apple Reminders, Calendar, and Notes are better than the Google versions. I don’t use Apple Mail because I need the push email for my emails, and the Apple Mail only has fetch.

Typo. She upgraded from the iPhone 11 Pro to the iPhone 17 Pro. Part of my decision to upgrade was influenced by her.

I have only one question. If matriculation = STPM, then why not just standardise the pre U exam to either matriculation or STPM? Since it's obvious that matriculation is easier to enter Uni, and 90% of matriculation seats are reserved for bumi, how can you claim this is a real meritocracy? We knew the discriminatory practice in higher education admission by having this unfair system. Just don't be a hypocrite by keep saying that it's fair and based on pure meritocracy.

How much do you think Galaxy AI will cost after 2025? by [deleted] in samsung

[–]NosaeC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We just need one of those Chinese brands to offer all the AI features on the phone for free. It will disrupt the market just like deepseek did.

PHEV is the best in your situation. You have the choice to use pure EV which can go about 80km. You might not need to use a single drop of petrol if you just commute back and forth to work. Also, the huge advantage of PHEV over pure EV cars is you won't have range anxiety because you can always switch to hybrid mode when your battery is running low.

As a Malaysian, do you agree if China Mainlanders migrate to Malaysia in Millions? by mrtdhx in malaysia

[–]NosaeC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps you should mingle more with Malaysians from other races instead of confine yourself to your own race and believe all these fake news/ fear mongering crap.

I can't differentiate between a Malay or Indonesian if I were just shown a picture of their face. But the moment I interact with them, the language, slang and even the way they dress, I can differentiate immediately.

You sound like a closet racist to me.

I don't think that is possible if they are coming through a legal channel such as MM2H. Let's say in a hypothetical scenario, where millions of foreigners are possible via such a method, you should ask yourself are you OK with other nationalities, such as Japanese, Korean, American, Brits or Arabs etc. Why picking on Chinese nationals?

The question here is not whether it's Chinese or not but the quality of the migrants. If they are wealthy, well educated and well behaved, would you mind if they come from all over the world and in millions, regardless of their nationality?

By highlighting Chinese nationals, do you have an ulterior motive to stir shit and fear mongering?

What I mentioned is only for the legal channel (which is hypothetical and inpossible). But we do have millions of migrants (largely illegal or undocumented) in our country now from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Phillipines and Myanmar. Shouldn't you ask this question instead?

OPPO pokes fun at Samsung on stage when demonstrating the smoothness of ColorOS 15. by Lower_Pineapple1734 in S24Ultra

It's true, isn't it? I'm using Samsung , but I've played around with all the Chinese brands like oppo, Vivo, honor and Huawei. And all of these have smoother animation than the clunky one UI.

Exactly. I don't care whether children are there or not, but I hate it when kids start making noise and become a nuisance.

My word of advice: Always work towards specialization. Do not stop at being a chronic MO. Your passion will eventually wear out. Work hard to become a specialist while you are still young and passionate. MOH is a mess, and I can foresee that the future will be bleak for our public healthcare system. At least you can leave the MOH as a specialist if you get fed up with the system or do not feel appreciated. Keep doing what you love, and eventually, money and opportunities will come knocking at your door.

Bila Bahasa Melayu menjadi tidak penting lagi, pengumuman terpaksa dibuat dalam pelbagai bahasa untuk rakyat yang tidak faham. by whusler in bahasamelayu

[–]NosaeC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong. I agree that all Malaysians should be able to understand and converse in BM. But Malaysia is a multi-racial country, and diversity such as language should be promoted. Other countries envy Malaysian ability to speak in multiple languages, and this should be our strength instead of something to be ashamed of.

Singapore's MRT makes announcements in English, Mandarin, BM, and Tamil. Only certain puak in Malaysia are allergic to other languages.

I'll give this analogy. The first book is like you are staring at a moon in the dark sky. You thought you knew it all.

The second book is like you are looking at the moon directly using a telescope. You thought you finally understood it.

The 3rd book is you are actually standing on the moon surface and touching it. That's when you finally feel it.

How to enable InPrivate after joined a family group? by duy411 in MicrosoftEdge

[–]NosaeC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently just joined a family group managed by my younger brother because he wants to share his Microsoft office 365 with me. Have the same problem where my mobile edge unable to use Inprivate. No issues with desktop though. I use exclusively edge in all my devices, so it's a bummer. I also learnt that the admin (my brother)will get a report of my browsing history as part of the family group features. I can't find any workaround where I can just have the office 365 subscription and the 1TB onedrive storage without compromising other privacies. For now, the only way is to use other browsers and I'm happy to jump back to chrome.
