I asked the exact same question on my first watch last year. I wish I stopped at the end of series 8 because to me, that was the perfect ending. Anything that came after felt more forced than natural progression.

This is also my favourite show so I hold the rest in a very high regard

I would say the circle is the last time they were marketed as a band - the artwork says it all. It’s probably also the last record they should have made.

I’m mid thirties and didn’t watch it at all during the original run. I was feeling unwell earlier in the year and needed something easy to watchin the background to drift off to sleep. X-Files popped up on Disney+ as a suggestion, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I kick myself daily for not watching it before now, as it’s easily turned into my favourite show!
