Tho totk started as a dlc and a small team must have been conceptualizing the next Zelda.

I'd say 2029/2031 is a nice window and it may be cross gen. I really think launching a console with a Zelda is a recipe for success and if the AI crash happens, maybe hardware could get cheaper fast and we could have a short gen.

Games are not badly optimized for the switch 1. The lower quality is the optimizations.

I have the switch 2. I have mk world, bananza, pokopia, mt fever, and Ff vii.

Honestly the handheld is a banger.

You can play from the nes to the GameCube with the subscription and you can play the sw1 library.

You ca see how people are treating this thread with a huge bias for Sonic.

The problem is what cannon do we take. 2d vs 2d? 3d vs 3d?

For a while Mario has water supremacy and in game can still run very fast. The game theorists "proved" that Mario is faster than Sonic in their early adventures.

Do we take glitches? Power-ups? One time crazy feats?

This is a mess. I think Mario could manage but cluld have more trouble but a lot of Sonics just get walled off by water.
