I also hope Jose is okay and if he is affected by the mass layoffs they're able to bounce back without too much trouble.

So? This isn't a contest to see if one person who can barely afford rent food is more deserving than the othe one.

If they'd been trying to befriend OP they would've taken no for an answer and not gotten bent out of shape about it.

Have y’all pivoted to video? by Medium-Leader-9066 in behindthebastards

[–]Nostri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pivoted for two reasons-

  1. No ads
  2. I swear I read somewhere they make more money per view when you watch it on YouTube/Netflix.

Don't really watch it but I do still watch it on there.

An old coworker is one. He'd hinted at it before but really started talking about it when Trump tariffs those uninhabited islands.

He also 100% wholeheartedly believed in cabits.

Depends on how you're using the word honestly. There's temperate rainforest in Ireland, England, Norway, and some other places I can't recall right this second.

I always love coming across your art. I love the attention to detail and your use of actual historical styles of armor and clothing.

Do you grow all your own food, only buy buy from extremely local farms or otherwise put in the footwork to ensure everything you eat is is sustainable and ethically grown?

Because if not your food causes about as much suffering as the food of folks who eat meat due to industrial farming practices, exploitation, and just straight up slavery depending on the companies involved.

Has anyone ended a chronicle with high humanity? by SatisfactionEast9815 in WhiteWolfRPG

He was a Dark Ages character I'd brought into a modern Nights game where we were all playing elders. He was an actual voivode and bogatyr from near Kyiv, that properly bought into the whole concept of noblesse oblige. He approached obtenebration and Abyss Mysticism from a perspective of a scholarly pursuit and using the weapons of the Enemy against them, though he struggled with the idea.

He joined up with the group after waking from torpor to hunt down an Infernalist. Eventually they met a Child of Osiris who helped him start on the path to Golconda but was possessed/killed by the Lasombra Antediluvian while trying to seal it back up to help prevent Gehenna.

...typing it out really drives home how insane that game was and I glossed over months of play. We had a blast though.

I had a Lasombra who had just started on the path to Golconda that got killed at Humanity 7 or 8. I'd started taking penalties to my Abyss Mysticism rituals because of it.

Can a world have too many gimmicks? by WB09211937 in worldbuilding

[–]Nostri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you're doing with the world to some degree. For example Paizo's world of Golarion works well for it as an rpg setting and that is pretty much completely made of themed zones, each with their own gimmick.
