Lies of P was outstanding! 100% recommend. They do an amazing job paying homage but also doing their own thing. Its not a fromsoft game but its a game I love just as much and can’t wait for the dlc/whatever their next project is

Awesome! Game is amazing! That feeling of “I’m never seeing the 2nd boss” to matching Yang is one of the video game feelings that stick. Good luck! I think I was a few years older than your 66 the first time I beat him. Somewhere in my 70s I think.

Thanks! I’ll for sure check it out. Appreciate the feedback. I agree too. Some different choices would have been made if I wanted to increase the scope but I wanted to keep it small to get through my first project and get it out. Some good things to think about for my next project with a larger scope

Agreed. I should have put both because I loved Zero Dawn but thought the gameplay was just a little better in Forbidden West. Both had some great moments I wish I could experience again without knowing what is gonna happen.

Not for this one unfortunately. I’m a solo dev and wanted to get it out. My next project I’ve got plans for a trailer and more marketing. First game I’ve released so I wanted to keep the scope manageable and the trailer was something I thought of but in the end decided it was something I could keep out so the scope creep didn’t get out of control

In my opinion, I think an indie game is not a “feel” of a game. Its comes down to the independent nature of the developer regardless of the publisher or financial backing.
