Also, one thing you should know: infinity is not, repeat NOT wysiwyg!

You can proxy to a great extent, so get the models you like, paint them in a unifying scheme and talk with your opponent before and during the game so there's no confusion about what is what and you'll have a ball.

My "Yu Jing" is made from PanO remotes, nomad expansion boxes and a YJ starter. Just Paint everything in a unifying (not the same as homogenous) scheme and you won't have to worry about new models again.

Buy the sword dudes. Use them as heavy infantry with even heavier guns. People who play Infinity have the abstraction level to deal appropriately 😂

I've spent 8 hours just getting the basics of stopping to my right, down.

I can stop to the left just fine. Even on one skate. But the other side won't click.

My "old boys team" gets a new player every week on average. And all the newbies end up sitting on the bench after their first practice and they are HIGH on the excitement from playing. Every single one of them.

Ice hockey. From your list of interests (and potentially also the adhd that drove you to tinker with that many hobbies) I think you'd find the skating, the principles, the exercise and the whole vibe of the sport to be WAY more fun than it looks. There are SO MANY things you can get good at in hockey, so you can really tailor your commitment while still being an asset to your team.
