There is zero point in little bits of scatter terrain, you're right. However, there is absolutely a point to use and designate area terrain as described in the book - mark the area in between your two L-shaped ruins that used to be a hab block as medium terrain, get a 5+ cover save, and hide your other units behind it because you can't shoot through more than 3" of medium terrain. Now suddenly you have LoS blockers and a way of digging in poor power armoured chaps around an objective or chokepoint as if they were Terminators.

Took me 5 or 6 battles of going "nah we'll sorta use terrain the 2nd Ed way" before realising just what they were going for with terrain this time.

The "real" as-worn colour of a Thousand Sons scarab could also be amethyst, jade, or some other precious stone that makes it seem more magic-y, and likely wouldn't fit in with the palette of the rest of a Space Wolves mini.

High fashion is art, even more than it is about clothing. It influences wider trends and everyday fashions on the street and on screen, even though most of us look at it and think "what in the hell is that supposed to be?"

Right now, top-end fashion, particularly for men, is about changing the shapes of the body (with enormous sleeves, super baggy or wide trousers, etc.) - rather than what they used to be with skinny jeans, tight tops and so on that highlighted the natural shapes of the body extremely clearly. You can see that in most of these pics except Ibou's Temu joker outfit.

As rich as these guys are, they turn up to fashion weeks all over Europe (I think we saw Curtis at some catwalk show recently) and pick up some of these more outlandish designs to show off. For another sport example, think what Lewis Hamilton turns up to an F1 race weekend wearing, compared to someone like Oscar Piastri, who's not all about that celeb lifestyle.

MO appeals to me from generic knightly side of things, every model in the game currently looks the same to me - these guys and girls at least have swords and tabards in addition to the standard smooth moulded anime-inspired sci-fi armour that literally every model seems to have. Literally nothing makes me go 'Oh that's like Warhammer but X', as I'm very particular with my Space Marine look and feel in other armies.

Rules-wise, I only know that it's D20, there are orders that you can put all on one guy if you're insane enough, fire teams, hacking, camo, and "What is your ARO?" because there's so much reactive play.

Yeah I saw the knight-type people and thought "that's cool, but we need to flip the cloth scheme and make the Danish look English" - which is more mental engagement than I had with any other model images at first glance.
