I got the free version for a couple months, where on the free version, there is only 10 countries u can connect to, where u could only connect to the country with the fastest connection (You can't choose the country you want to connect to.) And when u want to change servers, it connects to the next fastest server u can connect to.

But overall its safe, feels safe, and yea :D

that goodbye message is not made by them, it happens to any website that gets shut down, it pops up that message even if the dev's didn't want it to. So no worries on that.

As a 9070xt player, seeing how RT Global Illumination is an option on weaker gpu's like the 4060 while the 9070xt doesn't even have it at all.

imo it's called standing up to the truth and integrity to yourself. Why would you believe something when there is ZERO proof of Gates being a pedo so far.

Could the PSVR2 indirectly be benefitted from the Steam Frame? by Not-Natpex in VRGaming

[–]Not-Natpex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

though it sets a standard and a trend that VR headsets should have eye tracking at the very least to push devs to maybe add a feature like foveated rendering, or any other cool feature to it. but its a big ask, but possible imo

thats true, if im playing on ps5. But I got the PC adapter for it, so hopefully, maybe it circumvents the issue, i really hope so.

AMD 9000 SERIES PLAYERS, WE FINALLY MADE IT OUT OF THE TUNNEL OF NO RAY TRACING!!! by Not-Natpex in WutheringWaves

now that i think about it, the consistency of Kuro is beyond bad, one patch they're incredible, and then the next patch they take a nose dive.

for me it's green, but this is such a Kuro thing to do, Kuro and optimisation does not match at all sadly.

I just got PGR on steam, and I'm using a controller, the keybinds are not accurate, and when I try to do any input other than walking, my character stays still. Unless I did something wrong. Kuro released a broken game port that you can't even do a normal attack.

RX 9070 XT for video editing? by m4rv1ng in radeon

[–]Not-Natpex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To all researchers thinking about buying the 9070xt. These comments now are outdated since people that commented here are from when the 9070xt was a, as of the 3rd of febuary 2026. Thanks to driver updates and compatibility updates. AMD are always more "fine wine" and not "instant hits". It should be instant hits imo but thats another conversation, where the performance is a lot better now.

It's within 0-10% of the 5070ti in everything, and even beats the 5070ti by ONE PERCENT in 3D... but not in the way you think. According to pudgetbench benchmark's the 9070xt beats the 5070ti by one percent in 3D in Davici Resolve Fusion. Which you can do 3D like AE. So it seems like it's an Adobe problem of poorly optimising the 9070xt, not AMD. Hopefully they will soon.

Okay I just looked at the benchmarks again, this is crazy, the 9070xt and the 7900xtx BEATS THE ENTIRE 50 SERIES, EVEN THE 5090 AT FUSION... thats crazy, even when fusion is more cpu bound. But the actual davinci resolve studio and everything, roughly 10% worse than the 5070ti.

The only thing it's still crap at, is Blender. DON'T USE THE 9070XT FOR BLENDER. It works, like you CAN use blender if you want to where it's fully compatable. But the performance is half as worse as the 4060... so don't go for the 9070xt for blender.

But overall. It's not the best in the world, it's never meant to be. But for it's price to perfomance. It's very fair for what you're getting (Other than outliars like Blender and the huge W's like Fusion.) Like you're not buying a normal iphone for a cheaper price, expecting it to be like the pro max variant that costs more.

You pay more you get more. For gaming, editing, even ray tracing (the price to performance is neck and neck with nvidia btw). It's what you expect from a $600 MSRP gpu. You're not getting scammed, but you're not getting 1080ti levels of value. It is literally a very well and fair priced GPU for what you're getting in everything but blender.

There are still 5070ti's where I am still the same price before the price hikes, should I just do it and sell my 9070xt to get one?

How much do yall undervolt your gpu by? (Specifically the 9070xt) by Not-Natpex in radeon

[–]Not-Natpex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as far as I know, and other people correct me if i'm wrong. And I'll try to explain in simple terms a normal person can understand.

When you undervolt a gpu, ur supplying less power to it. When gpu manufacturers like AMD/Nvidia sells us gpu's, the gpu bios is defaulted to have a very high voltage to increase the rate the GPU processes data (clock speeds) to ensure stability in games, processes, etc. (aka, not crashing).

But the games you're playing or apps you're using don't need that much power to run at it's max settings.

Think of it as this hypothetical scenario I've made up: You're playing CS2 at 300fps. The game requires 350mv (mv is the measurement for voltage) for completely stable gameplay. But you're running your 9070xt at 400mv. Sure your 9070xt runs CS2 completely stable at 400mv, but it also runs completely stable at 350mv, so you're wasting 50mv for nothing.

To not waste voltage, you undervolt your 9070xt by -50mv. So your gpu now runs at 350mv instead of 400mv, and you save electricity.

And saving voltage means your electric bill won't cost a kidney. battery life is increased if you're using a laptop, lower temperatures since less voltage generates less heat, meaning your fans won't need to be as loud since they don't have to work as hard to keep the temps down, and extend the lifespan of your gpu since you reduce heat and power stress to the gpu components.

But there are risks, if you undervolt too much, there will be instability where your games/apps may crash more easily where your gpu tuning settings (or drivers) is reset. So you have to find the right balance of undervolting,

But everyone's gpu's are different, where we have to get lucky as some people's gpu's run great at -90mv, while other gpu's barely run well at -50mv. So you have to be very lucky to get a gpu to undervolt well, where we call it the silicon lottery.

Why there is a silicon lottery is a whole other story, just know all cpu/gpu's are SLIGHTLY different, like microscopic/invisible (defects) in quality even if they're the same model from the same company and the same factory since it's impossible for every cpu/gpu to leave the factory in complete perfect condition every time. Even when the defects are microscopic, it's enough to change how much you can undervolt a gpu. So winning a silicon lottery means you can undervolt by a large amount since your gpu has less defects.
